Zallin - Art Contest Week 176 - Random Art

hello, I'm here to show my entry in the Art Contest of the Splinterlands game community, this time I chose to make random art, I painted little by little between the intervals from one game to another, it was really relaxing to paint while waiting for the opponent to choose the cards 😁, my idea was to make only the game's logo, then I thought it would be cool to add the elements icons, but they were a little big and I had to spread them out 🤣, I hope you like it.

Drawing Process

this time I did the drawing throughout the week each day doing a little, my idea was just to make the logo, I started with the basic sketch in pencil, I'm not having difficulties in this part, I'm getting better at sketching.

I started by painting the edges and practicing the light effect, I'm getting better and better at doing these effects, then I painted the mouth that is in the center of the logo, moving on to the inner letters, this was the part that gave the most work. After I finished painting, I thought something was missing, so I thought I'd put the element icons.

I started again with the sketch of the elements, the most difficult was the white symbol 😂, I never looked closely at these icons until today, and I realized that they are pretty cool, I liked the death and the green.
After the sketch was ready, I started to paint, it was very easy to paint them, I just had to pay attention to leaving the white spaces inside some symbols such as death and fire.

Even though I liked the symbols I couldn't draw them as I imagined I didn't like how it turned out, I think it would be better without them, at least it served for experience. It was nice to do a piece of the drawing during the week, each day I did a part, I think I'll start to follow this strategy in the next drawings, my head is already full of new ideas.
