Hearing the word "war" makes me very afraid. When I was little, my area experienced a war between government troops and the separatist group, the GAM (Gam) demanding regional liberation. The situation at that time was tense, people were being killed without any human rights, and we were always in fear. Just a civil war is already very frightening, let alone now that I see wars between countries on the news. I can't imagine how truly terrifying it is.

Regarding the issue of the ethics of childbirth, it certainly has a huge impact. Nowadays, we are constantly haunted by chaotic thoughts and problems. Personally, I prefer not to have children for now, even though I honestly long for a baby in our lives. Given the many challenges of modern life, I am afraid of that.

In my area, every newborn baby is burdened with the debt of the surrounding country. Two million rupiah was calculated a few years ago, but over time, the national debt continues to grow, and the burden of debt per citizen becomes greater. Greed, selfishness, and arrogance inherent in humankind are making the world increasingly chaotic. The world feels increasingly crowded, and the climate is increasingly hot. Is this purely a natural factor or is it divine punishment?

In my region, Aceh, the forest area is still vast, and many areas remain uninhabited. However, due to human greed, the forests are being destroyed. They are being cleared for palm oil plantations. Recently, we experienced unprecedented flash floods. This is all due to the forest's inability to absorb rainwater, leading to frequent disasters.

Having many children in this day and age is a significant burden and risk. The economy is declining, jobs are becoming scarcer, and competition is becoming fiercer. Although the forests appear vast and many areas are still uninhabited, they have all been taken over by those in power and greed.

Although the government in my area has issued a call for the use of contraceptives and participation in family planning programs, stating that two children is sufficient, many people in my area do not comply. They are not concerned about the threats and conditions of the world. My neighbor alone has four biological children and one stepchild. Furthermore, many of my friends my age have an average of three children, or even more; only a small percentage have one or two.

I have one child, but I worry about his future, what about those with many children? Here, having one child or not is a source of ridicule for people. Many people have mocked me for only having one child. Sometimes I think having one child is the worst thing in my life, but the current situation has made me realize that having one child is the best thing and brings victory and ease to me.

For people in my area, children are... Blessings and blessings, so the more children they have, the more blessings they receive. This understanding is a role model in our area. We believe that every baby born is guaranteed a blessing by God. It's no surprise that if you visit my area, you'll find families with many children. Only people in urban areas participate in the government's program of only having one or two children.
