Today is the first day of the journey to the world's highest Shiva temple.🕉️🕉️
Hello friends, I hope all of you are healthy and well, and you must be living a happy and peaceful life. Friends, today's journey was going to be quite spectacular and very fun, as there were holidays for Holi, so all of us went out for an excursion. This time the place we went for an excursion is very famous, its name is Chautha Tungnath Tum Nath Temple, which is a temple of Lord Shiva, which is the highest Shiva temple in the entire world, so we will start today's journey.
So as we had a lot of people to travel with this time, this time all of us, friends and elder brothers went out for travelling together. We had two vehicles, one was our Bolero and the other was a C car for the other brother. 5 of us sat in one car and 5 in the other car and we left for our destination. This temple was quite far from our location, about 240 kms. we had to travel from our city and after having breakfast in the morning, we had left for our destination.
Friends, as soon as we enter the Garhwal division after crossing the Kumaon division, we get to see something else there. It was the time of Holi and everyone was singing Holi, small children and adults were coming and going on the road with bands in their hands and singing Holi, and after playing this Tak, we had to give them some Dakshina (donation) of 10-20 rupees or ₹50; we were seeing these people on every second turn; by the time we reached our destination, we met a lot of people on the way, we spent around ₹3 to ₹400 in giving them to them.
Today's journey was going to be very long which took us around 8 hours. We were slowly moving towards our destination and were enjoying the way. We could see big Himalayan peaks and we were going while enjoying the way. Friends, as there are two divisions in Uttarakhand, Kumaon Division and Garhwal Division, so here the temple is located in Garhwal Division and we are in Kumaon Division in which we had to go to another place and another district.
In the evening all of us came out to sit and two of our brothers and friends from Delhi who knew us also joined us. Now there were 12 of us and everyone was sitting under the sky in the night and enjoying the stars.
Friends, by the time it got dark we had reached our destination and we had arranged for tents there to stay for the night. These tents looked quite normal in appearance but there were many facilities in it. Inside there was a double bed and gram blanket. Because it was very cold there and there was snow as well, we got very good facility to stay there and after checking our timetable, we found the washroom also to be very good. We did not see any kind of dirt.
After sitting outside for a while we heard a voice that our dinner was ready and we all sat together at the dinner table to have dinner and our journey for today ends here, tomorrow we will move on to continue our journey.
So friends, our journey ends here today. I will tell you about the trekking that we have to do tomorrow and will show you some beautiful sights. Our trek tomorrow is going to be about 7 kilometers long.।
