Several steps in one || Varios pasos en uno
I must confess that for me, beginning to understand cryptocurrencies was not an easy process and it took me a while to get into the subject. After having understood their nature, I was presented with a new technological breakthrough that also brought me to the same point of difficulty as the previous one: the NFT or Non Fungible Tokens.
It turns out that there is also an NFTs platform in Hive, www.nfttunz.io [@nfttunz] (dedicated to music, because before there was also @nftshowroom), so there was no excuse not to get into it. But this also coincides with a friend of mine who recently asked me how he could help me with my new musical project and he himself told me that he would put my new single in his Spotify playlist, but with what they pay the musician there, I wasn't going to get very far.
It turns out that one of the possible answers to his question is precisely this, the NFTs.
Debo confesar que para mí, empezar a entender las criptomonedas, no fue un proceso fácil y me tardé en entrarle al tema. Luego de haber entendido su naturaleza, se me presentó un nuevo adelanto tecnológico que también me llevó al mismo punto de dificultad del anterior: los NFT o Tokens No Fungibles (Non Fungible Tokens o NFT en inglés).
Resulta que además hay una plataforma de NFTs en Hive, www.nfttunz.io [@nfttunz] (dedicada a la música, porque ya desde antes existía @nftshowroom), así que no había excusa para no entrarle. Pero es que además esto coincide con el planteamiento que me hacía un amigo que en días recientes me preguntaba de qué manera podía él ayudarme con mi nuevo proyecto musical y él mismo me planteaba que él colocaba mi nuevo sencillo en sus playlist de Spotify, pero que con lo que le pagan allí al músico, no iba a llegar muy lejos.
Resulta ser que un de las posibles respuestas a su pregunta es precisamente esta, los NFT.
How can an NFT help you?
In this type of structure one has the freedom to decide how many "unique pieces" you will produce and the price at which you will sell them. So, I could publish only 10 and place them at a price of 100 US$, which would produce me an income of a thousand dollars, if I have 10 friends willing to support me that way.
How many plays must a track have on Spotify for you to earn such an amount? Well, a number so large that only a few can achieve it. On the other hand, you manage this at your own discretion, deciding the amount that will be sold and its price, which can be adjusted in the future. In addition, for each sale made by the new owner of your song, i.e. your NFT, you will get new income.
But beyond the friends who can lend you a hand and buy your NFT, there is a huge market of collectors who have found in these pieces immense business possibilities.
What was the result of the conclusions of the above?

¿Cómo te puede ayudar un NFT?
En este tipo de estructura uno tiene la libertad de decidir cuántas "piezas únicas" vas a producir y el precio al que las vas a vender. Por lo tanto, yo podría publicar solo 10 y colocarlas a un precio de 100 US$, lo cual me produciría un ingreso de mil dólares, si tengo 10 amigos dispuestos a apoyarme de esa manera.
¿Cuántas reproducciones debe tener un tema en Spotify para que ganes tal cantidad? Pues un número tan grande que solo pocos lo logran. En cambio esto tú lo manejas a tu criterio, decidiendo la cantidad que se venderán y su precio, el cual podrá ser ajustado en el futuro. Además por cada venta que haga el nuevo dueño de tu canción, es decir de tu NFT,tú obtendrás nuevos ingresos.
Pero más allá de los amigos que te puedan brindar una mano y comprar tu NFT, hay un mercado gigantesco de coleccionistas que han encontrado en estas piezas inmensas posibilidades de negocios.

Un nuevo NFT: Pa' los bailadores
"Pa' los bailadores" (For the dancers) is the first original song and the first song in Spanish that I record for my salsa project and it is also the definitive release of the project, now under the name Ylich. This makes it a special song, as it is the starting point of everything that will come from now on.
Although I had already shared in these spaces the following information, today it is necessary to remember who were the participants in the recording.

"Pa' los bailadores" es la primera canción original y el primer tema en español que grabo para mi proyecto de salsa y es también el lanzamiento definitivo del proyecto, ahora bajo el nombre de Ylich. Esto la convierte en una canción especial, pues es el punto de partida de todo lo que vendrá de ahora en adelante.
Aunque ya había compartido en estos espacios la siguiente información, hoy es necesario recordar quienes fueron los participantes en la grabación.

My first NFT
Despite the trauma I was carrying when it came to uploading my first track (not knowing how to do it), it was all a matter of a couple of minutes.
First I contacted @iamdarrenclaxton, the person behind the nfttunz.io project, who recommended me this video, in which he explains the step by step and it was more than easy.
Of course, the part of the prices and quantities was left to my discretion, so I decided to go for a high number of editions at a low price. So, there will be 500 editions at a price of 1 (one) hive each. With the idea that many friends will have the possibility to take their NFT at the lowest cost, thus having their collector's item at the lowest possible cost. Of course, each one can acquire more than one piece with a view to negotiating it in the future, because as I said before, these are collector's pieces, at the same time that they are assets of interchangeable value and that tend to rise considerably in price.
The only requirement to be able to buy, as well as create your musical NFTs on that platform is to have your Hive account, as well as have SWAP.HIVE, which is the Hive variant within the Hive-engine platform (which is also accessed through the Hive account).
For added security access to these sites is with the use of Hive Keychain.
Mi primer NFT
A pesar del trauma que yo cargaba a la hora de subir mi primer tema (por aquello de no saber cómo hacerlo), todo fue cosa de un par de minutos.
En primer lugar contacté a @iamdarrenclaxton, quien es la persona detrás del proyecto nfttunz.io, quien me recomendó este video, en el cual explica el paso a paso y resultó más que sencillo.
Por supuesto, la parte de los precios y cantidades la dejó a mi criterio, ante lo cual decidí irme por un número alto de ediciones y a un precio bajo. Por lo cual, habrá 500 ediciones a un precio de 1 (un) hive cada una. Con la idea de que muchos amigos tengan la posibilidad de llevarse su NFT al más bajo costo, tener así su pieza de colección al costo más bajo posible. Por supuesto, cada uno puede adquirir más de una pieza con miras a negociarla en el futuro, pues como dije antes, estas son piezas de colección, a la vez que son activos de valor intercambiables y que tienden a subir considerablemene de precio.
El único requisito para poder comprar, así como para crear tus NFT musicales en esa plataforma es tener tu cuenta de Hive, así como disponer de SWAP.HIVE, que es la variante del Hive dentro de la plataforma de Hive-engine (a la cual también see accede mediante la cuenta Hive).
Para mayor seguridad el acceso a estos sitios es con el uso de Hive Keychain.
Conclusion
The reason for this post is the happiness I have for having taken a new step within Hive, venturing into a field that is new to me, but being part of this universe, it should be part of my daily life. Likewise, I want this post to become an additional impulse to this other Hive project and to this cutting-edge technology that are the NFT.
But it is also an important step in my professional career as a musician, because it is about presenting my music in new formats and it is also the search for new funding for our musical projects and our careers as professional musicians.
And it is a way to offer to those who follow our musical work, a direct way to support our job, without intermediaries and with a direct effect on our creative work.
Conclusión
La razón de ser de este post es la felicidad que tengo por haber dado un nuevo paso dentro de Hive, incursionando en un terreno que es nuevo para mí, pero que al formar parte de este universo, debe ser parte de mi cotidianidad. Así mismo quiero que este post se convierta en un impulso adicional a este otro proyecto hiver y a esta tecnología de vanguardia que son los NFT.
Pero es también un paso importante dentro de mi carrera profesional como músico, pues se trata de presentar mimúsica en nuevos formatos y es también la búsqueda de conseguir nuevos financiamientos para nuestros proyectos musicales y nuestras carreras como músicos profesionales.
Y es una vía para oferecer a quienes siguen nuestra labor musical, una forma directa de apoyar nuestro trabajo, sin intermediarios y con un efecto directo sobre nuestra labor creativa.
