Fabric Shopping

Hello hivers. It's another weekend and the market Friday hosted by @dswigle.
My friend would be having her wedding and she sent in her lace fabric for her ashoebi and I had to get matching fabrics and materials to make the dress at Itam Market in Nigeria.
I purchased velvet fabric which was #900ngn($1.6) per yard of fabric

It wasn't easy getting a matching color for my fabric. Guess because the color isn't such a frequent color, something between onion pink and a light shade of purple.

I saw several other fabrics at the market with beautiful colors but I purchased only what I needed.

I also got zippers at #100ngn each ($0.18). I got the black because that fitted my dress more.

Finally I bought matching threads which were the cheapest at #50ngn (0.9$).
Touring around the market was quite tiring because I couldn't get everything at one shop but it was fun all the same and I'm off to make my dress.
Thankyou for reading through, I hope you found time to visit a market in the area.
Yay! 🤗
