Exploring Lake Sebu and Side Trip to Sultan Kudarat: An unexpected Sojourn

Hello everyone let me take you to Lake Sebu, South Cotabato. Never in my dream to visit the place, I don’t even know there’s such a place. But here I am enjoying the scenic and refreshing beauty of Lake Sebu.

It was my longest ride so far, it took us 12 hours from our place to South Cotaboto, along the way from Misamis Oriental we passed by Bukidnon, Maguindanao Sultan Kudarat and North Cotabato.

Lake Sebu is a picturesque lake surrounded by lush green mountains. As I was there, I can see a lot of tourists mostly with their families showing amazement in their faces.

One of the tourists spots that I visited there is the Punta Isla Lake Resort. The view was exhilarating. The place was warm and refreshing. It has boutique for souvenirs, it has function rooms also for seminars and trainings, you can do boating and fishing also.

The place was quite big, it is tiring to walk around but rewarding since you are enjoying at the same time.

We also visited the 7 Falls, it’s very amazing because there are 7 falls in one area but not connected. You need to travel from one place to another to see the different falls. The place was evidently preserved though a lot of people were visiting there.

I was able to experience also how the T’boli tribe dress up. It was cool and amazing. Their clothing was colorful and by just wearing it, it was like you were brought to their culture and tradition. It was a privilege to experience it.

I was given the chance to visit the vast Provincial Capitol of Sultan Kudarat also. I can see how reach the province.

After that sojourn in Lake Sebu and side trip to Sultan Kudarat I realized how rich Lake Sebu and Sultan Kudarat is.
