Mulan coloring exercise - Digital Artwork [ENG-ESP]
¡Saludos amigos! el día de hoy quiero compartir un ejercicio que lleve a cabo hace unos días, la idea fue propuesta por un buen amigo, quien es un gran ilustrador y maestro la idea era colorear nuevamente una ilustración de algún otro artista aplicando esta vez un estilo pictórico y realista, el personaje fue Mulan de las películas de Disney, de inmediato puse manos a la obra para llevar a cabo este reto, lamentablemente no hice muchas capturas de pantalla durante el proceso, pero igual quería compartir el resultado y comentarles un poco de la experiencia.
Greetings friends! today I want to share an exercise I did a few days ago, the idea was proposed by a good friend, who is a great illustrator and teacher, the idea was to color again an illustration of some other artist applying this time a pictorial and realistic style, the character was Mulan from Disney movies, I immediately got down to work to carry out this challenge, unfortunately I did not do many screenshots during the process, but I still wanted to share the result and tell you a little of the experience.
Lo primero que hice obviamente fue trasladar la imagen a el programa de dibujo Paint Tool Sai que es que uso normalmente, luego lo adapté al tamaño de mi lienzo ya que era una imagen tan pequeña y tan poca resolución comencé entonces a colocar un color base, para luego sobre esta comenzar a colocar los diferentes tonos tanto de su piel, cabello y ropas.
The first thing I did obviously was to transfer the image to the drawing program Paint Tool Sai which is what I normally use, then I adapted it to the size of my canvas since it was such a small image and so little resolution I then began to place a base color, and then on this I began to place the different tones of her skin, hair and clothes.
Es un ejercicio que he disfrutado mucho, me ha encantado el resultado obtenido y los volúmenes que he logrado obtener de un dibujo tan plano como este, también improvise un poco realizando una nariz más realista, pero atendiendo a la contextura de su cara era la forma más ideal.
It is an exercise that I have enjoyed a lot, I loved the result obtained and the volumes that I managed to get from a drawing as flat as this, I also improvised a little making a more realistic nose, but considering the structure of his face was the most ideal way.
En cuanto a las telas de su atuendo les he aplicado un tratamiento pictórico como si se tratasen de seda aplicando áreas de mucho brillo y un contraste marcado entre las áreas oscuras.
As for the fabrics of her outfit, I have applied a pictorial treatment to them as if they were silk, applying areas of high brightness and a marked contrast between the dark areas.

Me encanta como los tonos y las luces hacen esos volúmenes tan precisos, sin duda es una excelente ilustración la que haz hecho a partir de una imagen tan plana.

Te quedo bella la imagen @yetsimar. Cada vez que veo tus ilustraciones digitales veo a mi hija dibujando aunque tienen matices, y gustos diferentes.
