Happy beginning of the week friends of the hive, it is a pleasure to greet you for another week, again being part of the contest, today I want to share with you my anecdotes about the topics addressed.

Have you ever read a poem or a story that made your heart stop?
because you could swear it could be about YOU?

What would be your weapon of choice in a zombie apocalypse?

First of all, I have to confess that I avoid reading sad things, I don't like that feeling of sadness, I avoid it as much as possible, since I'm in Hive I have written two stories that have touched my heart and literally made me cry, because of the plot of the story itself and because of some accumulated crying I have had, I always avoid watching drama movies to avoid getting sensitive and in this case one of the stories was about a doctor who had lost his son to cancer.

But this doctor who despite being saying goodbye at the cemetery to his son took a call to go save another child who was in distress at the clinic, he shouldn't have, after all he was going through a bereavement and had to take a few days off; however, he believed that being at home without his son's company would fill him with more sadness and so he stuck to his job.

While a mother annoyed by the doctor's delay verbally lashed out at him for his tardiness and the doctor after saving the woman's son replied in a calm voice that he had already saved the little boy and that he had arrived late because he was at the cemetery saying his last goodbye to his son, this story touched my heart deeply and made me cry.

Another story I wrote recently was about a little boy who had lost his mother in a tragic accident and was left under the care of his father until he became a man and then he took care of his father until his last days, these stories of family, loss and death usually make me very sad so I usually avoid them.

Other stories as such that I have read so far I don't feel that they have described or talked about any personal situation of mine, it hasn't touched me yet, for sure when it happens I will be surprised.

As for a zombie apocalypse, there are so many things that have been seen in the movies that I feel that at any moment it would ask to happen, because every time the theories that they handle end up being more credible and after this virus created by COVID-19 that mourned so many families in the world to believe that they can make a virus capable of infecting people in this way and turn them into zombies I would not doubt it nor would it seem far-fetched to me.

Fuente

What I do wish is that if that day comes, I can be safe with my family and the necessary supplies until we are taken care of after the zombies are exterminated.

As for what weapon I would like to have, to my mind come those images of Rambo or those movies where those muscular men with long guns come out with an infinity of bullets that seem to never run out, I would like those, I could aim from afar without putting myself at risk and have rolls and rolls of bullets until I manage to finish them off.

If it were my turn right now I wouldn't have anything to defend myself with, since we don't have any kind of weapon here, so I would have to deal with a baseball bat from one of my sons that is there almost unused, to be able to defend myself, the other thing would be the wooden rolling pin with which I make the cookies, actually there are few things I have to defend myself if that were to happen at this moment, I would have to use a baseball bat from one of my sons that is there almost unused, to be able to defend myself.

It is always good to be prepared for a situation of this magnitude, but in the end we will never be, they would be things never seen before and although we have enjoyed many movies the reality ends up being different.

In my country it is not normal to see people carrying a gun unless it is a policeman or a criminal hahaha, but a common family the truth is that no, so let's hope this does not happen, I laughed a lot with this of zombies, and thus concluded my participation today. Happy week to all friends, I'm @yelimarin, will be until next time.

Seeing yourself reflected in stories you happen to read could be surprising, happy, dismaying, and a host of other emotions all in between. I've been caught off guard a time or two by a sad story or book. Actually, a book earlier today!

I like your choice of weaponry-the gun with many bullets! By golly, those zombies will not get the best of you! I would make the same choice!

Thanks for sharing and making me smile! Take care and have a lovely day! !LADY

Those are really sad stories indeed. I seem to have read those too, especially that of the doctor. Death is something that saddens the heart.

Your weapon of choice is cool, the gun with endless bullets. And a rolling pin or a baseball bat? They would make a great weapon haha! Good luck to you on the contest, !LADY

Both the stories are so emotional. The Doctor one I have read somewhere and yes it is heart touching. How some people have a strong heart to put their duty first above everything and he is a true example of that
