The scenes you can see at the Myanmar buddhist supply store
Hello my loving Asean Hive community,
Welcome to my new post. About two days ago, I went to a buddhist supply store and bought some necessities. I also photographed things in that buddhist supply store. A few days ago, I only talked about the Myanmar water festival, so I did not mention this Buddhist supply store. Today I am going to tell you about some of the scenes you can find at Myanmar buddhist supply store.
Myanmar buddhist supply stores mainly sell buddha statues, indra statues, angel statues, monk statues, pagoda pictures etc. These statues are also made in various shapes and sizes. Some are made of a variety of hardwoods and some are painted gold. They also sell jade buddha statues. The pictures above show me the statues on the front of the store. I did not have to take pictures because very large statues were inside the store.
These buddhist supply stores also sell small pagodas in the shape of famous pagodas. You can also find alms bowls, bells, gongs at buddhist supply stores. Many items sold at buddhist supply stores in Myanmar are mostly painted gold.
And you can easily buy decorative plastic flowers, plants, etc. at these stores. About two days ago, I went to the store to buy some decorative plastic flowers. Shopkeepers often pack decorative plastic flowers and plants in clear plastic bags. I think to keep dust out of those flowers. Are decorative plastic flowers expensive in your country? In the small town where I live, they are a little expensive. When I went to the store, I bought a jasmine flower and the flower shown in the fourth picture. I spent over $ 5 on those two.
Offering bowls, butter lamps, and incense burners are also available in a variety of sizes. Most of them are mainly gold and silver.
The yellow boxes shown above are traditional savings boxes. These savings boxes are made of bamboo and have captions written on the front of the boxes. The caption on the front of the box reads: for vacation, for marry, for son, for donation, for birthday, etc. And it's so cute in my eyes because it also has cartoons. What do you think? Thank you so much for reading my post to the end.🍇

We have something similar in Borneo but the range of goods sold are more limited. Here we have flowers, incense, Joss sticks and hell ( paper) money.
Are they expensive in your country? In the town where I live, flowers, incense, joss sticks are a bit cheap, but statues are very expensive. So not many people buy them. Thank you for your comment.🌸
The flowers, incense and joss sticks are not that expensive.
Wow.. @winelay very nice tour of the store.. 👍😀 different from the one in Malaysia..
