Art #4: Color Sketch

Hello everyone, it's been such a long time since I posted here. And today I'm going to continue my artwork series...

I haven't drawn for quite a while now and I felt like I don't know how to draw anymore and so I tried to do this color sketch to get my hands back to the feeling of enjoyment of brushing the strokes. I just found out about this color sketch thing recently while I was scrolling on youtube looking for some inspiration. It was the old youtube content of Samdoesarts, it looks fun so I quickly searched for a reference on Pinterest, grabbed my stylus pen, and immersed myself in the drawing process.

And as you can see the first try didn't go well as I imagined it to. I was too excited and made it in haste because I thought it was easy and simple. It turned out I was wrong, especially for me who's not adept at choosing colors. So I had to redo the drawing again, but this time, I'm taking it slowly.

And with that, the background is finished. I don't know if it's only just me, to feel that sudden panic when you found out you've been painting in a single layer all the time🤣. Next to draw is the final piece, the subject (and the reference)

I honestly don't know what to do with the designs on her shirt so I just draw straight lines of such colors and used the smudge tool to mix them all. (such laziness🤦‍♂🤦‍♂)
