Una mascota llega a tu vida como una gran responsabilidad y compromiso, a darte amor y cariño sin esperar nada a cambio, para muchas personas los únicos y más comunes animales que pueden llegar a hacer esto son los perros y los gatos, pero existen personas que prefieren un animalito más pequeño e inusual, y sin pensarlo pueden ser los más bellos y grandes compañeritos. En mi caso, yo elegí tener un loro, ya que desde pequeña me parecieron muy divertidos por el hecho de que podían "hablar".

A pet comes into your life as a great responsibility and commitment, to give you love and affection without expecting anything in return, for many people the only and most common animals that can do this are dogs and cats, but there are people who they prefer a smaller and unusual animal, and without thinking they can be the most beautiful and great companions. In my case, I chose to have a parrot, since since I was little I found them very amusing due to the fact that they could "talk".

En el año 2020, en pleno comienzo de la pandemia por Covid-19 mi papá me regaló una hermosa lorita, a la cual nombré Abigail, era realmente hermoso, tranquila y curiosa, tenía 5 meses en mi hogar dándonos alegría, era la integrante más pequeña de la casa, pues la veíamos como tal. A los 6 meses aproximadamente un gato se las ingenió para entrar a la casa y atrapó a mi querida Abigail (no vivía en jaula, era libre en nuestra casa, como un miembro más), no pudimos hacer nada al respecto, el gato fue realmente veloz y se llevó a mi pequeña Abigail en su boca, cuando pudimos alcanzar a dicho gato, ya era muy tarde, mi pequeña emplumada ya estaba agonizando. Fue una noche bastante triste para todos en mi casa, llorábamos desconsoladamente porque en 6 meses esa lorita había robado nuestros corazones, y en esos tiempos de encierro fue un excelente acompañante y alegría en el hogar.

In the year 2020, at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, my dad gave me a beautiful parrot, which I named Abigail, she was really beautiful, calm and curious, she had been in my home for 5 months giving us joy, she was the most small of the house, because we saw it as such. At approximately 6 months a cat managed to get into the house and caught my dear Abigail (she did not live in a cage, she was free in our house, as one more member), we could not do anything about it, the cat was really fast and took my little Abigail in his mouth, when we could reach said cat, it was already too late, my little feathered one was already dying. It was a very sad night for everyone in my house, we cried inconsolably because in 6 months that little parrot had stolen our hearts, and in those times of confinement she was an excellent companion and joy in the home.

Luego de unos meses decidí que debía tener otro lorito, y fue cuando llegó a mi vida Pepe, al compararlo con Abigail, era notorio las distintas características de comportamiento, a pesar de que a Pepe también llegó a mi vida muy pequeño y lo crié de la misma manera, el tenía un comportamiento más activo, en pocas palabras, Pepe es un desastre en malcriades jaja.

After a few months I decided that I should have another little parrot, and that was when Pepe came into my life, when comparing him with Abigail, the different behavioral characteristics were noticeable, despite the fact that Pepe also came into my life very small and I raised him from In the same way, he had a more active behavior, in a nutshell, Pepe is a mess in spoils haha.

Dicen que estos animalitos suelen ser muy apegados con una persona, en el caso de Pepe, soy yo su esa persona a la que prefiere ante a otras, con la llegada de este a mi vida yo me propuse ser muchísimo más atenta ante las situaciones y tomar muchas más prevenciones en cuanto a los gatos y ahora que está próximo a cumplir un año conmigo, todo ha estado muy bien, ni siquiera hemos sufrido sustos.

They say that these little animals are usually very attached to a person, in the case of Pepe, I am the person he prefers over others, with the arrival of this one in my life I decided to be much more attentive to situations and take many more precautions regarding cats and now that he is about to be one year old with me, everything has been very good, we have not even suffered any scares.

En este tiempo Pepe se ha convertido en mi compañero invasor en todo momento y lugar, sin darme cuenta está siempre a mi lado y me persigue como si fuera un patito detrás de su mamá. Al llegar a casa es el primero en decirme "Hola", lo cual es súper cómico a mi parecer y desde entonces está conmigo durante el día.

In this time, Pepe has become my invading companion at all times and places, without realizing it, he is always by my side and chases me as if I were a duckling after his mother. When he gets home he is the first to say "Hello" to me, which is super funny in my opinion and since then he has been with me during the day.

El día de ayer, miércoles 30 de Marzo, tuve una larga mañana universitaria, presente exámenes importantes por lo que los días previos estuve muy ocupada estudiando, ese día al llegar a mi casa, como siempre, el primero en recibirme y saludarme fue Pepe. No dudo ni un minuto en invadir mi espacio de descanso y se posó en mi regalo, mostrándome una carita muy tierna, se sintió como un abrazo muy reconfortante. Fue simplemente genial, como si el supiera lo cansada que me sentía en ese momento. También me hizo sonreír mucho, puesto a que pronunció muchas palabras que les he enseñado a decir y es muy cómico, porque las hice hasta con mi mismo tono de voz.

Yesterday, Wednesday, March 30, I had a long university morning, I took important exams so the previous days I was very busy studying, that day when I got home, as always, the first to receive me and greet me was Pepe. I did not hesitate for a minute to invade my rest space and perched on my gift, showing me a very tender face, it felt like a very comforting hug. It was just great, like he knew how tired I felt at the time. It also made me smile a lot, since he pronounced many words that I have taught them to say and it is very funny, because I even said them with the same tone of voice.

Fue así y es así como tengo momentos de regocijo con mi mascota, dónde el me aporta la mejor energía y me hace feliz. Sin dudarlo es el mejor compañero que ha llegado a mi vida.

It was like that and that is how I have moments of joy with my pet, where he gives me the best energy and makes me happy. Without hesitation, he is the best companion that has come into my life.
