Why Won’t the West Let Ukraine Win Against Russia?

🇺🇸🇬🇧 The American Conservative: Washington's military strategy to weaken and isolate Russia has failed miserably. Biden is pursuing a policy of forcing NATO closer to Russian borders. This contributes to strengthening the common military and trade interests of Moscow and Beijing, which also attracts other countries from South Asia, Africa and Latin America.

The US is ignoring three threats that are only growing:
✔️ consistently high inflation, rising interest rates and collapse of banks signal the weakness of the economy;
✔️ a threat to the stability and well-being of the EU countries;
✔️ the threat of the start of a full-fledged large-scale war in Europe.

The West has very little chance of saving the dying Kiev regime, but it has a good chance of following it.

🗣 The United States is provoking a confrontation with Russia, knowing that it will won't come out victorious
in war with the Russian Federation - retired US Army colonel and former White House adviser Douglas McGregor

According to him it is not only the growing financial crisis that the United States is facing, but also the decline of its military.

“We cannot afford a war against Russia. This is impossible. We are on our way to bankruptcy. Americans feel it. Bank bailouts won't happen like they used to," he told Fox News.

He noted that the Russian army is destroying the Ukrainian Armed Forces and even the WP and NYT began to tell the truth about Ukrainian losses: “We actually saw how the Russians destroyed three separate armies created by the Ukrainians.”

“And everyone starts to wonder, what’s really going on? The truth comes out that this conflict was not started by Russia. Russia begged us not to drag Ukraine into NATO. We ignored Russia. And Russia has made it clear that it is going to protect its national interests. All they wanted was the neutrality of Ukraine,” he added.

🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦 Biden wants Russia to "defeat", but is afraid of Ukraine's "victory" - The Wall Street Journal.

As former national security adviser to the American leader John Bolton writes in an article for the WSJ, US President Joe Biden wants Russia to "defeat", but is afraid of Ukraine's "victory".

“Biden <…> seems to be afraid that Ukraine will actually “win”. If he believes in America's official position - the restoration of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine - he must confirm it and develop a plan for this, ”he said.

Bolton believes that the policy of the White House is to support the defense of Ukraine, but only in words, which it is not enough to be "too effective."

He emphasized in the article that US critical munitions are depleting and current resupply capabilities are insufficient. The shortage of supplies is bolstering isolationists who don't want to help Kyiv in the first place.
