The fight for Bakhmut City Continues in Ukraine

Notwithstanding the reinforcement of the arsenals of war by the Russian army, the Ukrainian forces have decided to hold Bakhmut. Looking deeply at the devastation and destruction Ukrainian cities have suffered, which is automatically a setback for them, the Ukrainian armies have decided to lay hold of the city no matter the cost, notwithstanding the jittering and forces the Russian army is on.

The office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he chaired a meeting with military officials during which the country’s top brass advocated strengthening Ukrainian positions there. source

A lot of damage has already been done to Bakhmut and the villages surrounding it, with various detonations of bombs and missiles,gun shots on a rapid level, and the intense unveiling of weaponry as the aim of the Russian army is to finish up the already started mission on Bakhmut. Civilians living in such areas before the shelling of the Russian army are now on the run as they are fit to forsake their already-lived city in sort of a run for their lives.

Russian forces that invaded Ukraine just over a year ago have been bearing down on Bakhmut since August, putting Kyiv’s troops on the defensive but unable to deliver a knockout blow.Some analysts say its possible fall is unlikely to bring a turning point in the conflict. source

In a bid to stop russian armies from advancing more into Bakhmut,the Ukrainian armies have destroyed two bridges outside of Bakhmut, which has a sure link from the russian army hideout for the supply of weapons, but the Russian army, trying to outsmart them, technically went ahead of them to inflict the damage as to put a stop to the russians advancement.

Following President Putin's aims and target on Ukraine, he had it to takeover four provinces, including Donetsk, since last year, which he has advanced to take over about half of the provinces. But now, in an attempt to finish the already started business of his, he has to pass through Baghmut as an entrance to take the four provinces he wanted to. Right now that the Ukrainian army has been a stumbling block to his achievement, how then will he progress?

Bakhmut is the only approach to bigger Ukrainian-held cities since Ukrainian troops took back Izyum in Kharkiv province during a counteroffensive last September.source

The Ukrainian army is also fully fortified to hold back more and withstand whatever force Putin and his armies might want to wedge against them, as they all have it in mind that if the Russians should penetrate through, then more damages and destructions would be added.
