THE SILLIEST THING I EVER DID

Most of us have displayed ridiculous behavior many times, while some people are used to doing it frequently, others rearly do, However, like everyone else, we occasionally find ourselves acting silly, and when we do, we often wonder, "if we were the one who actually did it” afterward.

There have been multiple occasions when I have acted in such a ridiculous way, and reading about other people's silly experiences actually reminds me of the many silly things I have done in the past. As I think back on those occasions, I can't help but giggle at how silly I was at the time.

One of these times was when I was an undergraduate. We were on vacation, so I went home to spend the time with my family until classes resumed. I had a great time at home, but I soon realized that things weren't as smooth with dad's finances as they once were. This time, instead of giving me money to buy food and other necessities for when I got to school, he suggested that I just take from the food supplies at home because he's not feeling well.

When I first heard that, I wasn't at all pleased. While I do understand his situation, I am not the kind of person who enjoys traveling with a lot of luggage; if it were up to me, I'd prefer to travel from one point to another without holding a single bag. However, in the current circumstance, I have no choice but to carry as many bags as I can.

Mom, who is skilled at organizing and packaging things, helped me properly pack all of my necessities, including food, clothing, and the like, into three large bags on the first day of school. However, when I saw those bags, I became so discouraged that I did the unthinkable.

I suggested that she help me consolidate all of my luggage into one bag, but she said it was impossible, so I started taking out some of the things I had been given in the hopes that my father's financial situation would improve and he would be able to send me money by the time I am in school, they tried to tell me not to drop anything away, but I won't budge.

When I realized that I still had two bags of belongings after unpacking some of them, I did the most absurd thing that could have possibly occurred to me: I decided to wear the majority of the clothing I was bringing, thinking that it would make it easier to carry less. As a result, I wore about five other outfits in addition to the one I was putting on initially.

Now I was satisfied, I only had one bag to carry. However, I quickly realized that the weight of those clothes made it difficult for me to move swiftly, My mother wanted to intervene, but my father told her not to say anything, that I would soon learn my lesson. And indeed I did.

He dropped me off at the bus terminal, and as I waited for the bus to fill up, so we can start moving, I started to sweat profusely, Those around me were just staring at me strangely because the temperature wasn't at all scorching, but by the time we got going, the traffic and sun were making me feel much hotter.

I was unable to remove my clothing so that the other passengers wouldn't think I was crazy if they saw that I had roughly 5 pieces of clothing and trousers on simultaneously, It was a terrible experience, and I was happy to arrive at my hostel after a 7-hour ride

I called home to let them know I had got home safely, and when they asked how the trip had gone, they literally started laughing before I could even explain my predicament. After a few weeks of being there, when the tiny food items I took along finishes and my father was unable to give me money to replace them, that was a very terrible experience; it was a silly thing to do, and I did indeed learn my lesson.
