Hello Hivers!

One of the things I enjoy at home is taking care of my plants. Among my collections are Caladiums, or what we call Gabi-Gabi plants. We have more than 10 varieties in our garden. They have different leaf colors, shapes, and patterns. Some have green leaves, while others have a mix of pink, red, and white.

My daughter also enjoys spending time with me in the garden. Sometimes, when I check my plants, she comes with me. We look at the leaves and see which plants have new growth. I also let her help me water some of them. These are simple activities, but I am happy because I can spend time with her.

I want my daughter to enjoy the things I love. I do not expect her to become a plant lover like me, but I want her to learn how to care for living things. I teach her not to pull the leaves or step on the plants. I explain that plants need water, sunlight, and proper care to grow.

Taking care of plants also like of raising a child. When I started collecting Caladiums, I learned that each variety has its own needs. Some grow well in certain places, while others need more attention. I cannot just leave them without care.

Raising my daughter is also a daily responsibility. She is still young and learning many things. Sometimes she listens, and sometimes I need to remind her again and again. There are days when I feel tired because I have many things to do at home, on the farm, and with my work. But I know that spending time with my daughter is also important.

I am not a perfect mother. I also make mistakes and sometimes lose patience. But every day, I try to become better. I want my daughter to grow up knowing how to respect others, help with simple tasks, and appreciate the things around her.

Our Gabi-Gabi or Caladium collection is not only about having many beautiful plants. It also gives me a reason to spend time with my daughter. While I take care of my plants, I also get to teach her small lessons in life.

I know that these plants will continue to grow, and my daughter will also grow up fast. I cannot stop time, but I can enjoy the bonding we have today.

For me, motherhood is like gardening. It needs patience, time, and love. We may not see the changes every day, but little by little, we can see how much everything has grown.
