The blizzard is raging like an uncontrollable beast, and Greg, who happens to be inside a tent, has only a thick sleeping bag to keep him from freezing to death. Even without looking at the thermometer, the temperature is clearly "below zero."

"I really should have gone home when I had the chance," Greg reflected.

Greg had been camping happily inside a pine forest before the storm and had even observed the temperature decreasing significantly a few days before, but he ignored it because it was a usual occurrence at this time of year. Greg refused to leave even when it started snowing because he was determined to finish his camping trip no matter what.

Unfortunately for Greg, the weather rapidly deteriorated, and a blizzard soon left him stranded. Greg has food on him, but it will only last a few more days unless the blizzard stops.

Greg attempted to contact for help using a radio transmitter he had brought with him in case of an emergency, but he couldn't obtain a good reception owing to the intense storm.

"Will I perish here?" Greg pondered this as the days passed without the weather improving.

Fortunately, Greg's luck has not yet run out, and he was quickly discovered by rescuers after his folks, who were concerned for his safety after days of no communication with him, reported that he's missing to the authorities. After being rescued, Greg was healing at the hospital due to frostbite.
