In the bustling city of New Haven, where time seemed to slip through people's fingers like sand, lived a young woman named Emily. From the moment she woke up until she laid her head on the pillow, Emily's life was a never-ending race against the clock.

Her days were consumed by endless to-do lists, meetings, and deadlines. There was always something demanding her attention, leaving no room for leisure or relaxation. She dreamed of slowing down, of having a moment to catch her breath, but there was simply no time for that.

One day, while rushing to yet another appointment, Emily stumbled upon a peculiar antique shop tucked away in a quiet alley. Intrigued, she stepped inside, hoping to find a momentary escape from her chaotic existence.

Inside, she discovered a mystical pocket watch. The shopkeeper explained that it had the power to grant its owner a single day of timelessness. Without hesitation, Emily purchased the watch, desperate for a reprieve from the ceaseless demands of her life.

As soon as she held the watch in her hands, time around her froze. People stood still, birds hung motionless in the air, and the city's cacophony fell silent. Emily marveled at the stillness, finally able to breathe deeply and savor the moment.

She wandered through the city, taking in the beauty she had previously overlooked. She spent hours in the park, feeling the warmth of the sun on her face and reveling in the simple joy of doing nothing at all. She even found time to reconnect with old friends and create memories that would last a lifetime.

But as the sun began to set, Emily knew her timeless day was coming to an end. With a heavy heart, she returned to the antique shop, ready to surrender the pocket watch.

As the shopkeeper took the watch back, he smiled knowingly. "Remember, Emily," he said. "There's always time for what truly matters. It's up to you to choose how to spend it."

With those words echoing in her mind, Emily stepped back into her hectic life. Though the world continued to whirl around her, she approached each day with a newfound perspective. She carved out moments of stillness, cherished the company of loved ones, and pursued her passions with renewed vigor.

In the end, Emily realised that time was a precious gift, meant to be cherished and savoured, rather than chased and conquered. And from that day forward, "no time for that" ceased to be an excuse.
