With a Little Help From My Friends (ENG/ESP)
Hello!!! This time I want to share with you a project that was carried out in 2014 and 2015, in conjunction with the No Rew Foundation.
Hola!!! en esta ocasión quiero compartir con uds un proyecto que se hizo en 2014 y 2015, en conjunto con la fundación No Rew.
2 concerts were held to benefit children with cancer, by DAMAGE as the main band and Roswell to open the event.
Se realizaron 2 conciertos en beneficio a los niños con cáncer, a cargo de DAMAGE como banda principal y Roswell para abrir el evento.
These concerts took place in San Antonio de Los Altos, Miranda State, Venezuela, in the Los Salias cultural complex, it was a tribute to Metallica, with a full hall, all the proceeds in tickets, advertising and POP material, were donated to two patients in concrete (1 for each concert).
Estos conciertos tuvieron lugar en San Antonio de Los Altos, Estado Miranda, Venezuela, en el complejo cultural Los Salias, fue un tributo a Metallica, con sala llena, todo lo recaudado en entradas, publicidad y material POP, fue donado a dos pacientes en concreto (1 por cada concierto).
Unfortunately for today both patients have died, but at the time, seeing that joy on their faces, the satisfaction of feeling life to the fullest, the energy of the concerts and their smiles, was priceless.
Lamentablemente para dia de hoy ambas pacientes han muerto, pero en su momento, ver en sus rostros esa alegría, la satisfacción de sentir la vida a pleno, la energía de los conciertos y sus sonrisas, no tuvo precio
Alejandra Delgado and Jotsibel Villegas were the beneficiaries, and the owners of the joy, the energy and the desire of each of the people who were involved in this project.
Alejandra Delgado y Jotsibel Villegas, fueron las beneficiarias, y las dueñas de la alegría la energía y las ganas de cada una de las personas que estuvieron involucradas en este proyecto.
The No Rew Foundation, could not hold more concerts or events due to the economic and political situation in Venezuela, today many children continue to suffer from this terrible disease and their parents depend almost entirely on aid from NGOs and government entities.
La Fundación No Rew, no pudo realizar mas conciertos o eventos por la situacion economica y politica de Venezuela, hoy en día muchos niños siguen padeciendo de esta terrible enfermedad y sus padres dependen casi por completo de ayudas de ONG's y entes gubernamentales.
Today the members of DAMAGE and ROSWELL are scattered around the world, almost in exile, in search of a decent life, I hope one day we can do this kind of event again with the No Rew Foundation and take at least one smile to 1 child who needs it.
Hoy en día los integrantes de DAMAGE y ROSWELL, se encuentran regados por el mundo, casi en exilio, en busca de una vida digna, espero algun dia podamos hacer de nuevo esta clase de eventos con la Fundación No Rew y llevar por lo menos una sonrisa a 1 niño que la necesite.
