Ron Paul on January 6th: We Must Demand Justice

While I do not consider Ron Paul a charismatic leader, he is a dogged logician and an honest man. Known as Dr. No for his refusal to meet with lobbyists during his 26 years in the US House of Representatives, he has been an icon of incorruptibility and integrity during his entire career. I have always been an unrepentant fanboy of Dr. Paul, who maintained his obstetric medical practice and license while serving his constituents in D.C. and in his district in Texas.

His remarks regarding the mockery of justice that were the hearings on the Jan. 6th protest and subsequent trials are exemplary of his career. Since Speaker of the House Mike Johnson has released all of the >40k hours of video of the Jan. 6th protest, the sight of the Capitol Police holding the doors open for the protesters to enter the Capitol Building will be publicly visible to all, and the blatant lie that the protesters were bent on violence will no longer be able to convince even the most zealous Democrat that Republicans are guilty of insurrection during that event.

Anyone that is willing to hear factual testimony regarding the innocence of the Americans today imprisoned for crimes they did not commit, particularly those that have believed those crimes were committed, will benefit from hearing Dr. Paul out, and trying to prove him wrong from the video evidence now available (or soon to be) of the Jan 6th protest.

Instead of a pitched battle for control of the Capitol, you will see the protesters shaking hands with Capitol Police escorting them into and around the Capitol Building. Those convicted have suffered a gross miscarriage of justice, and those that have accused them falsely and convicted them are the actual criminals.
