Derrick Broze Speaks at the Better Way Conference

I have long been privileged to follow Derrick, since I was first introduced to him on this platform. He has proven to me he has integrity, intelligence, and what seems to be infinite patience, and I dare say love for humanity, however broken and pitiful we may be, from time to time.

While I have heard him say many things I strongly agree with that make both of us disapproved by the powerful and wealthy, I have rarely been so inspired by anything anyone said more than a simple request he made in this video I recommend watching.

He said that we are all bombarded by terrible news of what evil things are being done to enslave us all by 2030, but what we need to do is forget all that and think about what we want to have in 2030. He adds how our forebears have striven to bring us to this day, and how our posterity depends on our care to provide them a happy future, and this is the central import of our lives, that respect and love for our people that informs the purpose of our existence.

I cannot agree more. I know I am as guilty as any of trumpeting bad news of dangers to be alert to going forward - and such dangers seem to never stop arising anew from the fertile fields of deranged madmens' minds - but I also try to offer at least a glimpse of what can be possible if we take our fates in our own two hands, and build ourselves the blessings of civilization.

If there's only one message anyone ever takes from my work, from my life, or what I write, I would want it to be that vision I try to communicate of free and prosperous people creating inconceivable wealth to share in their good company across the breadth of the universe in perpetuity.

To get there we need to do more than resist our enemies. We need to be inspired to reach for it, and Derrick is doing that. I see him striving to do exactly that, and that is exactly what is most needed today. I don't always agree with him, or want to do everything he recommends, but I don't always even agree with me or what I want to do! It is more than enough that we share a vision of powerful, prosperous, joyful humanity competent to create the blessings of civilization.

We are going to actually do that. I hope you can be a part of that coming adventure that human effort and love can craft into paradise. Counting coup or tokens will not get you there unless you deploy those coup and tokens in love with effort to make it happen for humanity. You cannot get there alone, but will only be able to add to the societal effort that will create it. Find your tribe, your people, and add your strength to theirs. Strive for noble and amazing goals, but do so with clear eyes that are able to guide you around the impediments we face. We can't walk into every trap set for us and get past them. But we won't get past anything if all we see is traps. We have to have a vision of what we are striving towards, and Derrick has understood that and is doing what is necessary to inspire humanity to strive to make a better world.

I could not be more grateful, nor agree more strongly, and hope everyone could take strength in the gratitude for that hope he has shared.

Derrick Broze is a grifting clown whose values are completely hypocritical. Not only that he is the worst rapper in the "truth community" which is actually just the grifting cross promotion scam network.

I don't always agree with him. I'm not expecting anyone to be more perfect than am I. I do appreciate that there are aspects of grift to making a living as journalist whose income is donations from their audience, which is why I bend nails for a living. It's just the cost of spending all of your time on that task, and reflects being 'on' all the time.

You've had the courage to pump out continual videos in which you had to always be 'on' and every least opinion was judged. You have earned the right to comment on others that do that, as a result.

I am confident opinions of me, however poor they are, would be far worse if I made any attempt to live by such means, and as a result there aren't so much as pictures of me online. I limit my speech to what I can at least cursorily edit, in writing, which is how I feel I think best. I am very aware that when I am glib I can be absolutely wrong and need to retract my statements, seek forgiveness for what I have said that was wrong, and try to make amends, and I very much prefer to take the time to write out my thoughts before making them public and reducing that error rate by a vast margin.

Which is why I state it takes courage to do what you have done, and Broze does.

Regardless of the many things I think he is, or may be, wrong about, his statement that what we need to do today is to apply our best consideration to the circumstances we want to be in come 2030 deeply resonated with me, and strongly inspired me to reconsider my focus. It is too easy to be swept up in the constant stream of news of bad actions being applied to us by evil doers, and this leaves evil in charge of the paradigm we live in, the thoughts we think, and the actions we take.

I don't think we should ignore evil being done to us, but that should be impetus to act to reach goals we have set ourselves and to attain objects we have chosen to seek after careful consideration. We should be working towards our vision of what we want, and I think most of us aren't. I think most of us are simply striving to remain in place in an onslaught of attempts to knock us out of the race, and acting only defensively will guarantee no one knocks evil doers out of the race.

We can outcompete them. We can only do that if we make that effort to have a vision of what we want to accomplish and then set ourselves goals we can attain while reaching towards that vision. I sincerely intend to be part of an evolution of society away from centralization and the power of overlords and towards decentralized production of the goods and services that avail us the blessings of civilization, and leave overlords, tyranny, and war in the dustbin of history.

We'll have to work with the allies we are to do that. I hope we can utterly support each other despite we may not like the way they wear their hair, sing, or dance for their supper. We have actual enemies that want to scalp us all, cut our throats to silence our voices, and bury us so we can never dance again. I hope we can save our hatred for actual enemies, and forgive our allies our differences.

Thanks!

Be honest how much money did you give Broze for his nonsense grift?

You should have saved your money and put it into anything other than one of his ridiculous Universities or campaign runs for governor.

Lastly Broze never admits his wrong ideas, he doubles down and blocks people. I could go through a list of about 100 things he has said that were wrong, got called out on and responded by blocking people like me.

"Be honest how much money did you give Broze for his nonsense grift?"

I have upvoted his posts and very few comments. Just as I have yours.

I can understand not agreeing on all things. I can understand, and I hope you can, blocking people that you feel aren't going to facilitate whatever your goals are. I don't block people as a rule. I have blocked ONE person on Hive, and later unblocked them and currently provide them upvote support as I am able, because they've been flagged into negative reputation for being such an insufferable troll. I realize I am by far the exception in that regard.

I sense you have very strong feelings regarding Derrick Broze, and while I don't share them, I can understand that sometimes people just don't get along. I'm not trying to change your mind. I am not insulting you if you don't change mine, and I hope you understand that.

Anyway, I have tried to point out that even if you find them problematic, they're not your enemy. We do have actual enemies. I would encourage you to spend your time either going after those actual enemies, or building the future you intend to enjoy. If you want to discuss Derrick Broze more, I'm willing, but I probably won't be able to add any specifics to your complaints, nor can I provide much in the way of a defense of them, because I don't know them personally.

I just found what they said spot on, and inspirational.
