It's A Small World Afterall
There are about seven billion people in this our small world and every single while stepping out, I meet hundreds of faces I have never met before and might never really see again, even if I do I might not recognize anymore.
Do you ever wonder how the world will be with billions of people walking and not talking to each other, no families, everybody is just on their own doing their own thing😁😁 weird right because you can't fall from the sky and humans can't mate anyhow and abandon their products like most animals dooo.
This is where Socialization comes in place. Socialization started way back from the bible were God After creating Adam observed that he can't just be alone interacting with only himself( which is very strange😅), so he created eve and made room for reproduction and that's where FAMILY starts from.
The smallest and basic unit of Socialization is the Family, every single being has a root and belongs to a particular family(his or her identity). Other social groups were also created for different purposes like the school, church, market, workplace, and other numerous places where there is a convention of two or more people.
Today we can't talk and interact only with ourselves because after home, we are sent out to learn at school, where you meet and interact with other people. We also have the church another unit of Socialization where we go to worship and converse with others and. So far from these two places of Socialization, interaction has gone wild and far because families have met, exchanged pleasantries, identification and recognition has taken place, friendship has occurred and with time the reoccurring event leads to a bond. From the family you've bonded you get entangled with another one through them and so on and so forth.
Other places like market, workplace, gyms, and other organizations has made Socialization very easy and swift
Today just one person can have many friends, you can and may have been able to converse and create bonds with a thousand to millions of people whilst your stay on earth even with simple gestures like smiling, waving, and even getting into a fight.
Back then in Nursery school we would normally sing the song ** it's a small world after all**. I would sing but then didn't understand because my understanding of the world was a very wide, large and immeasurable space.
I wasn't wrong after all because the world is really large, just in my state or community alone are places I have never been too or know, talk more of a whole entire world filled with billions of people.
But then growing up I have realized that Socialization has really made the world a tiny place, Not because I have toured around the world but because there are institutions, platforms, groups , organization and thousand of channels that have been created for interaction and Socialization to manifest, and so many events have different people around the world.
Even technology itself has helped the world to be smaller and easily accessible whereby you can just stay and comfort of your home and work and interact with people around the globe and many many other things too numerous to mention.
So it is safe to say with Me that the world is indeed a small place after all.
