Thoughtful Thursday Curation Compilation #1

By conveying our deeper thoughts on Hive, we can uplift and support each other across the blockchain. This week we had some wonderful authors visit to share their life reflections, wisdom, and snapshots of their experience on this rock with us.

This compilation highlights authors who posted on topics outside of the monthly prompt. We hope you will consider taking the time to check their writing out! You may even make a new friend. ✌️

Learning To Break It Down. by @deraaa

I got a job that is way beyond my experience and if I want to use the lay man's words, way out of my league. I am talking a posh kinda thing that requires genius and creative minds. I had always seen myself as anything but...

Taking revenge is not the solution… by @ayamihaya

There’s been a time where we all have faced betrayals. Which gives unbearable pain that we did expect but not ready to accept. Sometimes we also feel the burn inside our soul. The pain we felt we also feel like the other person must suffer in order to understand what they are doing is wrong. But no! Some people will never understand if they don’t want to.

Stage-wise || When Art Transcends the Intellectual by @honeydue

Theater is one of those things I've always felt incredibly connected with. I've half an idea of myself in some decades' time, perhaps, when the thrill of being a novelist wears off or leaves me temporarily, where I might hide myself in the theater. Write. Direct. I don't know.

Three Photographs for Three Different Emotional States of Mind: Anger, Melancholy and Joy by @chris-chris92

I don't think I've ever dared to exemplify my emotions through an image before. I mean, it's as abstract as it is undefined. How is joy, or anger, supposed to be represented? With a smiling person or another one showing teeth of rage? I find both pretensions too cliché, predictable and honestly boring. But since this is an art of subjectivity and emotions are as human as error, I have decided to try to fulfill the goal I have set for myself; 3 emotions in 3 photographs.

Laying Back, "Blending" In by @jhymi

Blending in, being invisible, waiting to be called, not showing body too much... All those things are virtues I hold dearly to myself. I’ve had more than my fair share of negative spotlight and I’ve realized the countless times the power the invisible people have over those who are simply always out there. I'm living by it now.

A PIECE OF ME by @the.hyacinth

It has been a couple of weeks already that the writer has been pondering upon things that have been continuously bringing a crashing feeling to his chest. Apologies ahead of time for the inconsistency of the writings because of his heavy thoughts and aching heart. Anyway, let’s move forward.

INVERSED TOWN - Street Photography by @jlinaresp

I'm somehow in these photos. In my complex universe of limited expressive capacity I often use images to express protest, sadness, confusion, and even joy.... That's why I take street photos, because it is in the streets where the nuances appear spontaneous, diverse and unexpected with every meter walked. From there I take them, enclose them and turn them into my statements. Maybe that's why I also use to title each photo.

My Diary: October 1 2023 by @palomap3

What started as a kind of self-therapy had become a crushing obligation. The funny thing is that no one, absolutely no one but me has missed it. No one has asked me about his absence through any of my channels of contact. Neither in public nor in private.

Living(?): Alone and Independently [Part 1] by @nmore

I recently relocated to Taguig for my new job which isn't anything new for me as I've moved closer to previous jobs in the past due to my dislike of long commutes. However, this move is a bit different from my prior experiences. For the first time, I will be living alone and truly independently.

Reflections on Life: My Unfulfilled Wishes and Aspirations. by @rem-steem

I grew up in the heart of a sprawling city, where the concrete jungle stretched as far as the eye could see. While the city had its own charm, it never quite felt like home to my soul. It was a place of noise, congestion, and ceaseless motion, a far cry from the serene simplicity of nature that beckoned me.

Fun Fact!!

Back when I was thinking about the creation of the Thoughtful Daily Post TAG (then community... thank you @stayten,,, and thank you @brittandjosie for making me keep the thoughtfulness alive)... the main concept came to mind when I was posting with the #thoughtfulthursday TAG. So when @grindan suggested creating these Thoughtful Thursday Curation Compilation's, I was all for it!! Of course... there are other awesomsauce communities out there, and we are not trying to be something we aren't! Just another way to help elevate some thoughtful and positive energy! We thank you all... both old and new, for sharing your stories and content with us... This was a community created by... well; Community!!

I used the word community quite a bit didn't I!!
