Health is wealth

I have Always known that health is suppose to be the main priority to everyone, especially, those that have seen what health issues has done to people in the recent time. Our health is one of the top priority that we must take care of anytime anyday. Why I decided to talk about this is because of my friend that was ill and I had to go check her in the hospital today.

That's why I say, help is paramount. Our health is undervalued when we have it to ourself but when we do not own it anymore, then we beg for it. I was called very early this morning that my friend has been admitted to the university clinic. Immediately, I jump up from the bed I was in and brushed my teeth and had shower and dashed out Immediately to the clinic.

Getting there, we met different nurses that were to attend to us, but there kept behaving like they had no time for us. In my impatient mind, I was getting angry profusely to why Wil they delay their patients like that before answering their complaints. After we shouted for them to answer us, and I was thinking that is the final saga, I don't know it was just the beginning.

They told us to fill the clinical form and that will give us room to see the doctor for proper attention and then get administration of drug. After the form was filled, they told us to go for a test and they said it will lead us to what was wrong with my friend. This was suppose to be done to us free because it was the university clinic and most of this things has been paid for.

We were charged to pay $7 for the test which we did. After some minutes of waiting they told us the result was out . We were very happy and went to them for it. Getting there, they had to tell us to go for another test again that there was no trace of virus in her immune system. I began annoyed again and told the man in charge that we can't afford to pay another money for the test when there won't be any solution again. Tablet's weren't even given at all to even sustain the pains she was going through.

They had to tell us there was nothing they could do and we left with sadness in our heart. I had to tell my friend to travel home to her parents so that she can get proper treatment in a better private hospital. As at this night when I reached out to her, she was responding to treatment and getting better from her illness. It was somewhat a stressful day but thank God we got a better solution from it..
