My First Professional Oil on Canvas Painting.

Happy Sunday Fellas!
I am sharing this with so much happiness tonight. Over a month ago, I posted some canvases I was preparing for myself to use for some professional painting attempts and fortunately for me, I just started, even though I start with fear and confusion, I still achieved what you can see above, and I am definitely going to try more and more out soon!
I made the painting using a black and white picture as my reference image and due to that, I had the choice to decide what my colour scheme would be and though it was quite tough but I eventually arrived at something warm at last.
PROOFS OF OWNERSHIP!

I started by drawing my composition with Prussian blue (Oil Colour) and also created different values to show and guide me through my tonal graduations and value distributions.

I added more dark values to show and understand where my depth actually resides, and I did separated my background from my foreground showing a sense of distance in my composition.

I blocked the fruits using colours and shades from Orange to Red and Brown.

After covering the major part of the composition with Orange, I got confused and didn't know what approach would appear nice again to I dived into the fruit's natural colour which is Green and I blocked it all different shades of Green while I blocked my background with dark values from Green, Prussian Blue, to Purple, and to Brown.

I covered the composition again with shades from Orange to Red, and to Brown, using Lemon as the highlight and it came out not so mature.

I went back to playing with a lot of Yellow and Orange in order to get some interesting transitions within my mid tones and my highlights.

I did a lot trying to refine my colours here to bring out the fruits in a more vibrant manner and then I later worked on lighting up the surface on which the fruits are on to depict some light travels.
Kindly share your thoughts as comments below, I'll be glad to read and reply them all. Thanks.
