Ser un buen padre implica dedicación, amor y compromiso, es estar presente para nuestros hijos, atender sus necesidades, apoyarlos en las buenas y en las malas, es hacerles saber que los amamos tal como son y que pueden contar con nosotros, además, es brindarles las herramientas necesarias para que puedan ser ellos mismos y vivir de forma independiente.
Es verlos crecer y acompañarlos en su camino. El tiempo pasa tan rápido que si no estamos atentos, podemos perdernos momentos valiosos de sus vidas.
Being a good father implies dedication, love and commitment, it is being present for our children, attending to their needs, supporting them in good times and bad, it is letting them know that we love them as they are and that they can count on us, it is also providing them with the necessary tools so that they can be themselves and live independently.
It is to see them grow and accompany them on their way. Time goes by so fast that if we are not attentive, we can miss valuable moments in their lives.
Cada vez que tenemos oportunidad, mi esposo nos lleva a un estadium, donde él comparte varias actividades con nuestro hijo: Lecciones para aprender a conducir, para jugar futbol, volar una cometa, trotar, jugar beisbol... Mientras yo los acompaño, en medio de una caminata.

Fue gracioso porque mi hijo nos contó, que antes de que su papá le dijera eso, él había pensado en saltar la cerca, porque no se había dado cuenta de que había una puerta.

It was funny because my son told us, that before his dad told him that, he had thought about jumping the fence, because he had not realized that there was a gate.
Ambos estaban muy contentos de rescatarla con éxito y la estuvieron volando un rato mas, sólo que con el hilo más corto, por si se volvía a romper, no se fuera lejos.
