It would not be necessary to defeat Lukashenka if he promised that people would be allowed to demonstrate peacefully without police intervention and that he would ensure that all prisoners would be released and that there would be no more torture and rape and that new elections would be held.
In return, that Lukashenka, himself and his sons have security and Lukashenka does not have to be afraid.
As he realises that there is a lot of pressure in the population and he is unpopular, maybe he wants to change things and if he no longer feels threatened that he could lose or that something could happen, maybe he would be a good father of the country where freedom is allowed to live?
I read that a politician from Belarus said that the European Union should implement tough sanctions to cut off Lukashenka's money tap and that the EU is acting too slowly and too hesitantly and that if there were tough economic sanctions that would be a way to cut off repression.

I am so terribly sorry about what is happening in Belarus, it is so terrible 😱. I can imagine that one is incredibly afraid 😭 and life is terribly difficult 😩.
What is strange is that I read today, however, that Belarusian President Lukashenko, you say Lukashenka I don't know, sometimes a, sometimes o at the end, has spoken out on the current events in Ukraine on 23.11.2022. In his opinion, the bloodshed should end and peace talks should begin. And then I read that he said that Belarus has been doing its best to end the conflict since 2014. And then he also said that Kiev is being supplied with new weapons and military equipment from the West," the Belarusian leader said. "What is that if not direct involvement in the conflict?" he said.
How can he be an accomplice in the murder of peaceful Ukrainians when he made these statements 😯?
Maybe it's not him giving orders, maybe someone else?

Yes, one have teachers in life, but first and foremost one are ones own person with ones own opinion and with ones own thoughts.
Lukashenka is certainly not the only one who has caused so much suffering. I believe, for example, that the police will not receive instructions not always, but will act independently. And if the police have done bad things, then they will certainly not want the demonstrating people to get the upper hand, because otherwise they will become afraid themselves.
