Preparing for Valentine's Day and Cooking Dried Anchovies and Salted Egg Chicken Pasta

Hello, February! Hello, Sunday! Thank God, January is over. How's your New Year's resolution so far? Lol. Well, I failed to accomplish everything but I'm hoping I could do more this month. One of which is preparing for Valentine's Day.

But before that, I want to share what I cooked for breakfast and dinner.

For my breakfast, I cooked fried eggs, dried anchovies, and corned beef. Then I paired the anchovies with some lemon juice, yum!

It's been a while since I've cooked corned beef and dried anchovies. Everything was delicious and even thought the anchovies were healthy. However, I found out that consuming it causes uric acid due to high purine. I should lessen the consumption of such foods from now on.

For dinner, I made the dish that has been on my mind lately—salted egg chicken pasta. Oh well, it turned out great! Loved it! I'll be sharing the recipe soon.

And since it's two weeks before Valentine's, I did a quick check on my stocks for my little business—from the ingredients to the packaging. So far, I still have enough, I only have to discard the expired food colors.

My mistake was purchasing lots of food colors before. I was so excited and assumed I would have plenty of sales and empty all the bottles and tubes before they expire. So much money was wasted for the food colors alone. I learned my lesson now. Anyway, mistakes are part to grow wiser in business.

I just bought a few and only replaced some colors. I'll just stick with few colors for now.

I also bought some balloons as a freebie for my cakes. I only inflated one for sample. It looks nice, right? Haha!

I'm hoping and wishing to have some sales this Valentine's Day or else I have to keep these balloons.

Then just this lunch time, the Valentine tags I ordered were delivered. I'm surprised they also deliver during Sundays. Other materials are still on the way but they'll surely arrive at least a week before heart's day.

Of course, the most important thing when selling online is making an ad. I still haven't posted my ad but I hope it gets through the numerous valentine ads and reaches the people who would actually purchase my products. Competition is really high as there are already lots of dessert shops around and online sellers posting their Valentine products. And they all looked nice and aesthetic.
