Holiiis, como ya saben, me fui de vacaciones unos días a la ciudad de Bogotá, armamos un itinerario con los sitios que teníamos que visitar y el primero fue el Parque Metropolitano Simón Bolívar.
Hello, as you know, I went on vacation for a few days to the city of Bogota, we put together an itinerary with the places we had to visit and the first was the Simon Bolivar Metropolitan Park.
Siempre había oído hablar de este lugar, pero como todo, la verdad una cosa es oír y otra es estar allí.
I had always heard about this place, but like everything else, the truth is one thing to hear and another to be there.
Bogotá, es una ciudad llena de parques y de zonas verdes, cosa que me encantó y me enamoró, es muy fácil olvidarse del bullicio de la ciudad y conectar con la naturaleza en estos lugares.
Bogota is a city full of parks and green areas, which I loved and fell in love with, it is very easy to forget the hustle and bustle of the city and connect with nature in these places.
El Parque Simón Bolívar es enorme! Cuenta con varias puertas de acceso, por lo que nos recomendaron estar pendiente por cual entrabamos para salir por esa misma y no nos fueramos a desubicar.
Simon Bolivar Park is huge! It has several access gates, so we were advised to be aware of which one we were entering to exit through so we wouldn't get lost.
Como se puede apreciar en la imagen, en sus entradas se encuentran varios vendedores y los fines de semana se ven muchos más.
As can be seen in the image, there are several vendors at its entrances and on weekends there are many more.
Al entrar nos encontramos con un mapa del lugar, para que uno se pueda ir ubicando un poco más y un cartel con las normas a seguier en el parque.
Upon entering the park, we found a map of the place, so that we could locate ourselves a little more and a sign with the rules to follow in the park.
Desde el momento que se coloca un pie en el parque se puede apreciar su grandeza, es inexplicable y gracias a que fuimos un día entre semana, había muy poca gente, lo que nos permitió estar lapsos de tiempo sin mascarilla, respirando aire puro, fresco, se podía sentir como si estuviera en un lugar alejado de la ciudad.
From the moment you set foot in the park you can appreciate its grandeur, it is inexplicable and thanks to the fact that we went on a weekday, there were very few people, which allowed us to spend periods of time without masks, breathing fresh air, you could feel as if you were in a place away from the city.
Sus caminerias son impecables y te dan varias opciones para donde quieras caminar, cuenta con varias papeleras para que te deshagas de tus desechos y no contamines el lugar y con muchos banquitos donde te puedes sentar a deleitarte con la belleza de sus verdes.
Its walkways are impeccable and give you several options for where you want to walk, has several garbage cans for you to dispose of your waste and do not pollute the place and with many benches where you can sit and enjoy the beauty of its greenery.
El parque cuenta con un área especial para niños, donde tienen multiples cosas tales como sube y baja, toboganes y demás para que jueguen y quemen todas sus energías. De igual manera en varios sitios hay columpios que sirven también para los no tan pequeños de la casa; es más, en nuestro caso hicimos uso de ellos, riéndonos y disfrutando como siempre del paisaje que sin duda alguna es lo mejor de este lugar.
The park has a special area for children, where they have multiple things such as ups and downs, slides and others for them to play and burn all their energy. Similarly, in several places there are swings that are also useful for the not so small of the house; moreover, in our case we made use of them, laughing and enjoying as always the scenery that is undoubtedly the best of this place.
El parque cuenta con una laguna enooorme y en ella habitan varios paticos, tiene un camino especial para que la gente corra o trote, vi que la gente acostumbra a ir para realizar deporte y en realidad es una excelente idea ya que su vista es espectacular, creo que ya lo había mencionado pero es que es así, las palabras se quedarían cortas, así que dejaré que las imágenes hablen por mí.
The park has a huge lagoon and in it live several paticos, it has a special path for people to run or jog, I saw that people use to go for sport and it is actually an excellent idea because the view is spectacular, I think I had already mentioned it but it is so, words would fall short, so I'll let the pictures speak for me.
También podemos encontrar un mirador en el que podemos ver la mayoría del parque, bueno del lago en realidad en todo su esplendor, para subir hasta él es por medio de unas escaleras de caracol, la cual aquí entre nosotros debo admitir me dio un poco de nervios.
We can also find a viewpoint where we can see most of the park, well the lake actually in all its splendor, to get up to it is through a spiral staircase, which here among us I must admit gave me a little nervous.
El día se nos iba en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, de no ser porque comenzó a oscurecer hubiéramos pasado más tiempo allí, es muy fácil perder la noción del tiempo en un lugar tan maravilloso.
The day was gone in the blink of an eye, if it had not started to get dark we would have spent more time there, it is very easy to lose track of time in such a wonderful place.
El parque nos despedió con un lindo atardecer, el cielo se pintó de tonos naranjas, por lo que antes de irnos decidimos tomar un par de fotos más.
The park bid us farewell with a beautiful sunset, the sky was painted in shades of orange, so before leaving we decided to take a couple more pictures.
Estando allí pensaba en que sin duda alguna ese sería el lugar perfecto para escribir mis post, ayudaría con la concentración, la inspiración y eliminaría cualquier bloqueo.
Being there I was thinking that without a doubt that would be the perfect place to write my posts, it would help with concentration, inspiration and would remove any blockages.
