RE: Doctor Strange through the years

I wonder if people like Stan Lee imagined their characters would keep going for decades. It's not like a novel where things can just finish. They are under pressure to keep things going forever, but i think some comics do actually end. I quite like it when a TV show has an ending with no real intention of continuing the story. There's just too much temptation to keep milking it.
I guess the movie special effects can actually try to show what their magic can do now. I still need to watch the 2nd Dr Strange one, but the first had some freaky stuff.

true, comics are one long serial, but you can also see the same thing in novels (the German SF series Perry Rhodan has seen weekly publication since it started in 1961, and well over 3,000 issues, mainly novella length). Comic books are a great medium, though. I have been reading and collecting comic books for a long, long time, and my daughter is also collecting comics (with my money!) and enjoys reading them as much as I do.
@stevec - please keep posting about your comic book adventures.
Thanks for the feedback. I didn't really read comics for a long time, but am enjoying them now.
