I've had a very busy and stressful week in many ways, but now you could say that I'm much more relaxed and calm, so I have enough time and emotional encouragement to continue with the reviews linked, in this case to the Saint Seiya franchise and with the presentation and eventual review of this film in question, we would only need one more film to complete this whole process that certainly has been short, in comparison to the movies that I reviewed of the Dragon Ball franchise and accompanied by a monotonous plot in its majority, although some more than others certainly had good fights and a very significant musical depth, and in this case the movie that I bring you next, is a movie made much later, that is to say in 2004 and if we place in comparison since how long ago a movie like this was not released, since the beginning of the 90's in this franchise we could say that there were certainly many changes.

Several of these changes are linked mainly to the animation, setting, music and certainly the plot and in this last aspect I liked that they improved or added some little things to give it more variety or weight, and that it is not so monotonous and I certainly liked the truth, but in due time later I will address each of these points accordingly, also worth mentioning that the events that occurred in this film are not canonical, although curiously if they were going to be, but for certain circumstances linked to the film and the public could not be so and later I will explain why this, so ladies and gentlemen this time I bring you to The Knights of the Zodiac: Overture to Heaven.

Eh tenido una semana bastante ocupada y estresante en muchos sentidos, pero ahora se podría llegar a decir que ya estoy mucho más relajado y tranquilo, así que dispongo del tiempo suficiente y los ánimos emocionales para seguir con las reseñas ligadas, en este caso a la franquicia de Saint Seiya y con la presentación y eventual reseña de esta película en cuestión, solo nos haría falta una película más para culminar con todo este proceso que ciertamente ha sido corto, en comparación a las películas que reseñe de la franquicia de Dragon Ball y acompañados de una trama monótona en su mayoría, aunque unas más que otras llevaban ciertamente buenas peleas y una profundidad musical muy significativa, y en este caso la película que les traigo a continuación, es una película elaborada mucho tiempo después, es decir en el 2004 y si colocamos en comparación desde hace cuanto no se saco una película así, desde los comienzo de los años 90 en esta franquicia se podría decir que ciertamente hubieron muchos cambios.

Varios de esos cambios están ligados principalmente a la animación, ambientación, música y ciertamente la trama y en este último aspecto me gusto que mejoraran o agregaran algunas pequeñas cosas para darle más variedad o peso, y que no sea tan monótona y ciertamente me gusto la verdad, pero en su momento más adelante abordare cada uno de estos puntos como corresponde, además cabe mencionar que los sucesos que ocurrieron en esta película no son canónicos, aunque curiosamente si iban a serlos, pero por ciertas circunstancias ligadas a la película y el público no pudo ser así y más adelante explicare el porqué de esto, así que damas y caballeros esta vez les traigo a Los caballeros del zodiaco: Obertura del Cielo.

The Knights of the Zodiac: Overture of Heaven in Spanish America or as it is colloquially known in Japan as Saint Seiya: Tenkai-hen ~Overture~ is considered as the fifth movie of the franchise, being released on February 14, 2004.

Directed by Shigeyasu Yamauchi and scripted by Masami Kurumada, Akatsuki Yamatoya and Michiko Yokote, with music by Seiji Yokoyama, the animation studio in charge is Toei animation.

Los caballeros del zodiaco: Obertura del Cielo en Hispanoamérica o como se le conoce coloquialmente en Japón como, Saint Seiya: Tenkai-hen ~Overture~ viene siendo considerada como la quinta película de dicha franquicia, siendo esta estrenada el 14 de febrero del 2004.

Contando con la dirección de Shigeyasu Yamauchi y el guion por parte de Masami Kurumada, Akatsuki Yamatoya y Michiko Yokote, y la música de Seiji Yokoyama, el estudio de animación encargado es Toei animation.

Synopsis / Sinopsis

After the battle against Hades in the saga with his name, Seiya is badly wounded and in a kind of coma, then the angels in the service of the goddess of the house Artemis make an appearance in the place where Seiya is resting and seek to kill him for being one of those directly responsible for raising his fist against a god, Athena intervenes to save him and in exchange she gives her divinity to not only protect Seiya but also her other saints, and with this she seals his destiny and that of the others and it is from here that the plot will take a more difficult path.

Después de la batalla contra Hades en dicha saga con su nombre, Seiya queda muy herido y en una especie de estado de coma, a continuación los ángeles al servicio de la diosa de la casería Artemisa hacen acto presencia, en el lugar donde Seiya esta descansando y buscan matarlo por ser uno de los responsables directos de levantar su puño contra un dios, Atenea interviene para salvarlo y esta da a cambio su divinidad para no solo proteger a Seiya si no a sus otros santos, y con esto sella su destino y de los demás y es a partir de aquí que la trama tomara un camino mas difícil.

Certainly and curiously, I really liked this movie and it was quite entertaining as far as it goes, I feel that it was presented with the intention that it deserved which was to show us an introduction or a beginning to follow, despite showing us a certainly similar concept in what is the plot in relation to protecting Athena against any threat in this case by her knights both bronze and gold, there are aspects that made this same line is much more dynamic and certainly entertaining the truth, that is to say I feel that this aspect was improved a bit and is something I mentioned earlier about this monotony that ended in the same, here is basically an introduction to the consequences that will face both mortals and Athena for their decisions to rebel against the gods, although certainly the continuity of such a plot in the film is somewhat slow, I really felt it a little slow and I feel that it would have presented better some aspects related to some characters who swore allegiance to another goddess but otherwise is fine in my opinion, to be an introductory film now let's break down by part this film accordingly.

Let's start with the aspect of animation, in this section really if there was a significant improvement obviously, and is that if we place in comparison old movies to this in a completely different time linked to this statute, as is the section of animation the change would be significant, here is a dynamism and coloration improved in many ways, showing a significant change with a very striking display, but in my opinion does not stand out either in a way so abysmal however this quite well and fulfills a great task both in showing visually, without becoming uncomfortable as well as in comparative terms of previous films, in this franchise because at this point certainly the work in this section is much better, how this type of colors and dynamism of it is presented in the fighting and skills, has also improved considerably showing us something more vivid and with more coloration and movements, linked to the disputes and the background that accompanies them or the environment, at this point I have no complaints the truth.

In relation to the plot and as I mentioned in the introduction of this review if follows the same line that has been shown in previous films, and in essence even in the series, but here is shown a little more variety or versatility with the introduction of several powerful gods, because due to the actions of the saints of bronze and gold to reveal against the gods and protect the world and Athena, this has been considered an offense to the gods as such and this is where we are shown how they will pay the consequences those beings who gave their service for that, I like how it involves the interaction and participation of other beings and the change in the sanctuary in general and everything that surrounds it, of course then Seiya and the others will have to get up and rescue Saori the usual, and even despite this I did not find it at all boring for the aspects I mentioned before the truth, it serves as a good introduction and beginning, unfortunately it did not continue with this type of film due to the poor reception it had in Japan, but personally I think it would have been very good to see such continuity.

The setting on the other hand is very good, I like the change that occurs in many ways when the gods manifest themselves and the atmosphere changes considerably, the game with the colors and what it transmits in turn with a musical section is something magnificent, the design linked to this setting with the presentation of the antagonists on duty is really very good, in these points I have no complaints. And as I mentioned at the beginning the reason why this movie is not quite canonical, is because if in theory this would be a direct continuity after the saga of Hades, but unfortunately due to the poor reception it had in Japan that project ended there, so this movie becomes part of those non-canonical films and within an alternative timeline, very unfortunate the truth, and well with this ends the review of today and we would only need to review one more movie, I will take care to finish that in the course of this week seeing that I will be a little more relaxed and quiet now, so as always thank you for reading and get here and I hope it has been pleasant reading for you, without more to say until next time.

Ciertamente y curiosamente, esta película realmente me gusto y fue bastante entretenida dentro de lo que cabe, siento que se presento con la intención que ameritaba la cual era mostrarnos una introducción o un comienzo a seguir, a pesar de mostrarnos un concepto ciertamente similar en lo que es la trama con relación al proteger a Atenea ante cualquier amenaza en este caso por sus caballeros tanto de bronce como de oro, hay aspectos que hicieron que en este mismo lineamiento sea mucho mas dinámico y ciertamente entretenido la verdad, es decir siento que se mejoro un poco este aspecto y es algo que mencione anteriormente sobre esta monotonía que terminaba en lo mismo, aquí básicamente es una introducción ante las consecuencias que se deberán enfrentar tanto los mortales como Atenea por sus decisiones al revelarse contra los dioses, aunque ciertamente la continuidad de tal trama en la película es algo lenta, realmente yo lo sentí algo lento y siento que se hubiera presentado mejor algunos aspectos vinculados a algunos personajes que juraron lealtad a otro diosa pero por lo demás esta bien a mi parecer, para ser una película introductoria ahora desglosemos por parte esta película como corresponde.

Comencemos con el aspecto de la animación, en este apartado realmente si hubo una mejoria significativa obviamente, y es que si colocamos en comparación películas antiguas a esta en un tiempo completamente diferente ligado a este estatuto, como lo es el apartado de animación el cambio seria significativo, aquí se presenta un dinamismo y coloración mejorado en muchos sentidos, mostrándonos un cambio significativo con una visualización muy llamativa, pero a mi parecer no destaca tampoco de una forma tan abismal sin embargo esta bastante bien y cumple un gran cometido tanto en mostrar de manera visual, sin llegar a incomodar como también en términos comparativos de películas anteriores, en esta franquía pues en este punto ciertamente el trabajo en este apartado es mucho mejor, el cómo se presenta este tipo de colores y dinamismo del mismo en los combates y habilidades, también ha mejorado considerablemente mostrándonos algo mas vivido y con mas coloración y movimientos, ligado a los disputas y el trasfondo que los acompaña o el ambiente, en este punto no tengo ninguna queja la verdad.

Con relación a la trama y como ya mencioné en la introducción de esta reseña si sigue el mismo lineamiento que se ha mostrado en anteriores películas, y en esencia incluso en la serie, pero aquí se muestra un poco mas de variedad o versatilidad con la introducción de varios dioses poderosos, ya que debido a las acciones de los santos de bronce y oro al revelarse contra los dioses y proteger el mundo y Atenea, esto ha sido considerado una ofensa para los dioses como tal y es aquí donde se nos muestra el cómo pagaran las consecuencias aquellos seres que prestaron su servicio para eso, me gusta cómo se involucra la interacción y participación de otros seres y el cambio del mismo en el santuario en general y todo lo que le rodea, claro luego Seiya y los demás tendrán que levantarse y rescatar a Saori lo habitual, y aun a pesar de ello no me pareció del todo aburrido por los aspectos que mencione antes la verdad, sirve como una buena introducción y comienzo, lamentablemente no se siguió con este tipo de películas debido a la poca recepción que tuvo en Japón, pero en lo personal pienso que hubiera sido muy bueno de ver dicha continuidad.

La ambientación por otra parte es muy buena, me gusta el cambio que se da en muchos sentido cuando los dioses se manifiestan y dicho ambiente cambia considerablemente la verdad, el juego con los colores y lo que transmite a su vez con un apartado musical es algo magnifico, el diseño ligado a esta ambientación con la presentación de los antagonistas de turno realmente es muy bueno, en estos puntos no tengo ninguna queja. Y como mencione al comienzo la razón por la cual no es del todo canónica esta película, es porque si en teoría esto vendría siendo una continuidad directa después de la saga de Hades, pero lamentablemente debido a la poca recepción que tuvo en Japón dicho proyecto termino ahí, así que esta película pasa a ser parte de aquellas películas no canonícas y dentro de una línea de tiempo alternativa, muy lamentable la verdad, y bueno con esto termina la reseña del día de hoy ya solo nos haría falta reseñar una película mas, me encargare de culminar eso en el transcurso de esta semana viendo que estaré un poco mas desocupado y tranquilo ahora, así que como siempre gracias por leer y llegar hasta aquí y espero haya sido grata la lectura para ustedes, sin mas que decir hasta la próxima.
