Entry for the Shadow Contest/SMASh, Round 197
My boyfriend is an artistic soul who is always trying to find new and new means to make our (so far temporary) home more cozy, pleasant and romantic.
I must admit that I do not always understand and approve of his means. 😃 But I appreciate everything he does. (Considering that so far we have lived in temporary housing that was not furnished or designed by us.) But he always manages to come up with something, even a small one, that changes the atmosphere around.
Such a thing is the replacement of a single-table lamp in the living room.
So that the living room acquires the appearance of a jungle, when all the remaining lamps are turned off.
That's clever, isn't it?
Nowadays, when the possibilities for travel continue to be extremely limited, people can transform things in their home so that they feel as if they are somewhere else.
The lamp is hung on this plant (I don't even know its name) and casts the shadows of its branches on the ceiling and walls of the room.
