"How Do I Live My Life and Become a Hive Blog Writer?" ( Introduction Post)

"Greetings everyone! I'm Soren from Bacolod City, and I'm very happy and thrilled to be part of this community.
I'm quite excited to share a little bit about my life's journey with all of you." So kindly allow me a moment for this.
Let's start!

Let me introduce you briefly to a place in which I was born and grow up. To begin with I was born on December 08, 1980 in a major center for education, commerce and culture situated in the island of Negros.
The people here are so friendly, warm, cheerful and hospitable. Because of this our place are widely known in the Philippines as the "City of Smiles". In addition to that, it has a rich history
rooted in agriculture- especially sugar. The City that I am describing is no other than Bacolod, the capital of Negros.

Let us only highlight and talk about the festival in this city. Every year in the month of October people from different places either ordinary person, or a celebrities or even a foreigner are excited to visit here just to observe this joyful and long-awaited event called Masskara. Masskara is a combination of a word mass [means people] and kara [face].
Here's the thing, during the "Masskara Festival" the whole city of Bacolod becomes live with dancing, lights, music, food, and a nonstop fun. You can see people are busy roaming around the streets from daytime 'til nighttime to buy food and drinks they like on foodstalls, or even purchasing some items and souvenirs they love or just doing some fun activities with their family or even listening to a concert of their favorite celebrities!

To sum up Bacolod City - are really a place you need to to consider and put on your favorite list to visit, well that's because I can really tell you that Bacolod City has a full of surprises to offer with, and have a cool and relaxing environment.
In this page, I cannot tell you all the details about this lovely city. What I have only told you is just a tip of an iceberg.

3.png

Growing up in this City has greatly influence and shape me of who as a person I am today! As for me, I am just a simple person who always put family matters first
and put God in the center of my life. I think that this is the two most important things to prioritize in order to build a strong foundation of one's own life from the very start.

I am fond of reading the holy scriotures, because I can read there about the original purpose of God to humankind, then it answers the question why we grow old and die. In addtion to that it doesn;t contradict to any science or even in history. What is amazing is that you can read also in the holy scripture about prophesy or foretelling about the future. Some prophecy have already been fulfilled but some are waiting to be unfold.

I am also fond of playing physical games like basketball and swimming on the beach or in a pool to refresh my physical body. I also like mental games like chess and puzzles to enhance my memory in solving problems while staying calm and organize when things got tough. Occasionally, I love travelling together with my friends and family, , and this keeps us to develop strong emotional bond. Last time we travelled in Bantayan Island at Cebu...which has a total distance at around 150 km from Bacolod City. It's a great place to go!

Recently, I have finished my training on a 3-day freight course online which I liked it very much because it had discussed
about real life application on how to work effectively in a logistics industry. In addition to that, I have also tried to enroll in another short course- a Bookkeeping course (Xero and QuickBooks). I think what I am doing right now is the best one since both course had helped me develop my skills such as data management skills, financial recording skills and coordination and communication skills.
This short course they said is very in-demand right now in abroad and paying you a 6-digit. I am confident to find a client soon.

Frame Journey Facebook Post.png

Looking for a job online was a real little challenge for me. Then one day as I was scrolling through social media I met Ms Antonette Langgamon. I saw her post about this life-changing opportunity and this instantly grab my attention. So I made an effort to message her, asking further about the details of this. Then she replied, and provided all the necessary details on how to be part of this.
She introduced us to this great opportunity in PeakD.com. She told us, what we need to do and encouraged us to apply the knowledge what we have acquired from her. Now, tears of gratitude is what I have felt for Ms Antonette since she has open this window of opportunity to us. I was onboarded by @antonette @chinito.
I think that PeakD is a great platform where we can exchange and share our thought and emotions in a positive way. So now I am starting to share mine.
I do understand that in this platform, I must adhere to its rules and that is: I must not use any form of A.I. to make me a paragraph out of it just to look more impressive for the reader to read, but instead I must use my own ideas, insights and skills in writing a blogpost. But I am also aware that I am not limited on using Canva in order to enhance my photos.

Hi Soren — I enjoyed reading your introduction, especially how you described Bacolod as the “City of Smiles” and shared the energy of the MassKara Festival with its dancing, lights, music, and food stalls. Your post gives a vivid picture of your hometown and makes it easy to feel the pride you have for where you’re from. If you plan to keep sharing stories like this, InLeo Threads could be a nice way to post short updates about Bacolod and the festival, and @leo.voter may help support your future quality posts. What’s one local place or food in Bacolod that you think every visitor should experience first?

Hi @soren44blog welcome to Hive. I'm @palomap3 from Lovesniper OCD team.

I’ve been surprised by just how much we have in common! I’m also proud of the city where I grew up and live, whilst at the same time I love discovering new places and sharing what I find there. We also share an interest in accounting and freight transport, hehe. It’ll be great to learn more about Bacolod, the Masskara Festival and landmarks like that old church in your photo.

Follow your mentors’ advice and you’ll do well on Hive. For my part, I invite you to explore the communities I’ve linked below. You can start with Worldmappin.
