Striped albatross butterfly, flying against heavy rain
Welcoming in my blog...
Butterflies and moths are distinguished by the time they are active, and some traits in a character. Have you ever heard diurnal sentences and nocturnal sentences, these sentences are pinned based on the activity of a figure either at night or during the day. Butterflies are active during the day and are termed diurnal, while moths are active during the day and are termed nocturnal.

On this occasion, I will share with you, about a beautiful, sweet and elegant figure, she is a species of butterfly with the scientific name Appias libythea or in our local language called the zebra butterfly and some say striped albatross of butterfly. Of course, the name is pinned based on their physical characteristics and character when they are in a location, but the language embedded by our citizens is in the form of nonverbal language. This butterfly came from afar, seen through the pouring rain, then slipped over the leaves that were being watered by heavy rain. His visit here was based on his purpose, namely in a green area, in our yard to be exact.
In the midst of heavy rain this butterfly is still able to fly quite far on a mission, even though water droplets cling to its wings, then dominate every part of its wings, it is still able to lift its body into the air normally.
The water has the nature to dominate where the location is empty, then little by little the burden will be felt by the flapping of the wings. Although the wing lining has a slippery substance (like wax), which is able to block or hinder the absorption of water in any part. But the water still wet his wings, and gradually the moisture would settle to the top and bottom. So it becomes a heavy burden. Uniquely, he can still fly with normal power, even though he seems to be moving slowly. This butterfly still relies on the remnants of energy that has been drained because of its full power in dispelling the rain.
Feeling his flight power getting heavier, and his remaining energy running low, due to water deposition, when it was raining heavily, he chose the location mentioned above, namely on our taro plant that grows in our backyard.
Picking the right location, being in a yard that has a variety of plants is a perfect location for a butterfly, and in the end he finds his destination, and he perches on one of the comfortable caladiums for a butterfly.
Well, below, you will see some pictures of this striped albatross butterfly resting in a green plant, here are some photos that you can enjoy.

That's today's activity, finding one of the striped albatross butterfly figures, in a plant that belongs to us, which is a small green garden.
Hopefully you enjoyed it, and thank you so much for visiting this humble post.

Such a lovely little butterfly! Great photos; butterflies seem to be great subjects as they are not as skittish as birds or other flying creatures...
