SPIDERS!!😳
What’s scarier than a Bear market……..
The eight legged Arachnid!!😲
With Silvertop ramping up outside home chores, I a finding myself tangled up in Spider webs on a daily basis Lol!🤣
I pulled out my table saw to rip a few new boards for new soffits, and found myself tangled in cobwebs!😮
Now this really doesn’t bother Silvertop, but Liz has declared war on all spiders that are invading her home!😬
This is the time of year that when we hike, Silvertop must be in the lead………
The Mrs insists………….
That’s because I run into the spider, and spiders webs first !
“Liz do you want to lead today, I think all the Spiders are gone!”🥰😇
Back to working on the soffits on the roof……….
I got close to measure, that’s when I discovered a nest of bald face hornets!
Silvertop will take Spiders any day, Hornets not so much!!😳
These guys have a way of communicating with each other! Swat at one, and a army of hornets will come to attack!
Fortunately I keep an aerosol 25 foot range hornet spray in the garage…….
That’s about as close as I want to get to these nasty insects!😬
Well that was plenty of fun for today, Lol!🤣
Watch out for Spiders, and enjoy the great outdoors!!!😎

Every year, I have the entire outside of the house power sprayed (with water). That should keep the spiders out, hehehe.

What are those in the Third photo? They look so scary.
These are bald face hornets, they are very nasty, they will gang up on you and chase you and sting you over and over!!!
Oh! That's really scary, not just its looks alone.
Spiders are one thing that Liz does not like! We also have "brown recluse" spiders , that it can be very deadly but they are rare thankfully....😀
Yeah I heard Liz doesn't like spiders. I'm not scare of the regular spiders here in the Philippines, but other than those kinds, no way. 😁
Spiders are pretty nonthreatening here, except for the "brown recluse" I have heard stories of people getting bitten by the spiders and almost losing fingers from infection they are nasty!
Thankfully they are very rare
I haven't heard of brown recluse yet. Will search on it, and avoid whenever I'll see one.
They like to hide in dark places, so one thing they tell people up here is don't reach without looking!!😳
