Pink, purple, then there is yellow! They are my favorite colors in roses.

My garden had most of the colors of roses. In the photos below are some of the yellow roses in the garden of my paradise past.


This Yellow Rose as it is in full bloom

Embraces the friendship that fills this room


While the new buds around it are waking

New beginnings and memories are ours for the taking


The fullness of color in the center of this flower

So rich the friendship I know will be ours


It's magic and beauty gives your eyes a glow

Very pretty! I used to grow roses although I think I've told you that before. I love the smell, but it is a bit of a challenge here. Maybe I might try again......

Aren't they pretty?
These flowers are not what you see in most stores.
Except for the first photos, they are all English Roses.
I love them all!
They are pretty on their own.
I only have photographs now to show.
I spent hours in the backyard for years...
It helped me along my healing...

I think I've told you of the rose bush that grew every year on my southern exposure ever since I bought the home for my family. Red, I was told it is an English variety but I forgot the name. A Queen Anne's Red? A nice bush that is quite hardy and remarkably low maintenance.

Wonderful roses, sis.
They rest for a bit and then they come back, ever more beautiful!
I'm very sure you get a lot of pleasure for that rose bush!
I am not sure if there is a red English rose as I am familiar only of the pastel colors.
Except for the first ones, all roses in the photo are English roses.

Completely agree with you, even during friendship day my friends used to give me yellow roses because they knew how much I admire roses. My favorite color of rose is dark blood red and pink. Beautiful photos of a bunch of yellow roses...
