Wonder Woman: Hand Poured Silver Bar No.89
I dedicate this article to the Ladies of Hive community.
You are all wonder women!
This hand poured silver bar was made by taking melted silver and pouring it into a mold that has been carved to form the desired shape. In this case, it is the form of a woman... a depiction of Wonder Woman.
The melted silver is allowed to cooled and set, and removed from the mold. The silver bar is then weighed. This silver bar is 9.9 troy ounces of .999 fine silver.
It is stamped with a maker's mark, which is Pit Bullion. Additionally, it is stamped with "P" to indicate that this silver bar is a prototype.
Through the years, I've have collected a shield, a sword, a silver bar, and most recently a coin from Nuie... all Wonder Woman themed.
A total of 15 troy ounces of silver together.
I am a silver and gold stacker. What is that? It simply means that I save some of my money in the form of silver and gold.

Yes it is made of metal, and the metal it 99.9% fine silver.
At the back where the maker's stamp is... the type of metal and it purity is indicated.

This bar is quite heavy at 9.9 ounces.

This post reminds me of the silver coins Latvia had in the epoch of independence, when it had its own money - Lats.
The 5 Lats coins were cast in silver and depicted a Latvian Wonderwoman - Milda.
If you ever have a chance to add this to your collection - you might symbolically / "shamanically" tap into the mysterious power of the feminine wisdom that is still kept alive in Latvia through ancient "pre-christian" traditions, folklore and pantheistic worldview :)
This is the Latvian Wonder Woman - kind, wise, strong and courageous.

Yes, this is it. But during the last independence in the 1990ies newer commemoration coins were also cast in silver.

I did collect coins from different countries where I had travelled when I was in my 20ies.And then I gave them away to my nieces and nephews, to play with them :)
