Ms. Saver I know this one will Crack you Up especially when you think about your own Office...... @silversaver888

""Take Your Kid To Work Day ""

An 8-year-old girl went to the office with her father on ‘Take your kid to work Day’.

As they walked round the office she started crying and getting cranky.

Her father asked what was wrong.

As the staff gathered round she sobbed loudly,

“Daddy, where are all the clowns you said you worked with?”

I have always known of Robin Hood, as everyone does, but I just realized that I don't remember ever watching a movie about it. I have memories from childhood, but again, unless it was a cartoon, I don't really remember seeing a show. I might just have to remedy that!

Excellent coin @silversaver888! Nicely detailed and a great addition to the series. I look forward to the third. Thanks for sharing and have a lovely evening!

I just attached a photo of it to my response to Liz, @silvertop.
I am also liking the micro-dot field.

Thanks for visiting, @cve3! You don't have to get any of these. Just stick with your favorites, just as I stick to my ASE, US Constitutional silver, and fractional gold. Those are my main stack.
This year I will be stacking rounds and bars. I didn't last year.

Sure is, @crislybear!
I wonder if the story is true?
Parts of it?
Do you know?

I pretty sure some parts of the story are true. Most of those stories have a core of truth :)

Lady Marian's coin is beautiful, If I am not mistaken, it is one of the protagonists of the Robin Hood story. is that coin inspired by her? You can confirm?

The story is inspired by Robin Hood, hehehe 😁!
But it is just a tale, right?

I admit that I don't know… that I don't know if the Robin Hood story is true or fictional or a half-truth.

All silver is vulnerable to an imperfection known as white spots. On silver coins these white spots look very much like spilt milk that has dried on the coin, hence the common name given to them by coin collectors - milk spots. They are cloudy, slightly translucent and may occur as small spots or cover large areas of the coin. Perhaps more worrying is that they can suddenly appear on a previously perfect coin.
I seldom see milk spots on the coins I buy, certainly not from the Royal Mint. The Royal Canadian Mint is known to produce coins very susceptible to milk spotting. This is a short series. It ends this year with Little John, which is not yet out.

Thank you so much for the explanation @silversaver888
I learned something that was new to me.

Sounds like a great collection to have 😊

Short series has its advantages...
unlike the Lunar series. It takes twelve years to complete the collection.
I'd be old when I complete that, hehehe 😁

Yes, you are right. Short series are easier to collect.
But the long series are also worth the effort 😉🤩

I saw that Little John is the next in this series. I got Robin Hood and Maid Marion, but can’t decide about the next one. 🙂

Might as well get it, because it is the last one... there is more value in a complete series.
I am not too sold on it, to be honest with you 🙂.

This coin is so beautiful. I have been looking at silver coins online lately. Do you buy them online or locally? I notice there is a wide discrepancy in pricing.

I did some research on this. I just was curious about your opinion and what you do.

Hello, @harlowjourney!
You can buy coins from online dealer, or your Local Coin Shop (LCS), or from any secondary market like Ebay.
I got this coin from Apmex, which is an online dealer. The popular online dealers are Apmex, JM Bullion, Provident.... There is no LCS around where I live (otherwise I'll be spending 1/3 of my waking hours there, hehehe 🤣). I sometimes find something nice is Ebay.
Prices do fluctuate based on spot prices of silver for online dealers. Now, be very careful if shopping at Ebay where there are major price differences. So make sure you do your research first.
Generally, I buy the lowest prices in coins.
Feel free to browse through the coins for 2022 listed in the bottom of the article.

Thank you for the info. I will definitely say hi if I am on Discord, but I am almost never on Discord, which I am told is a networking liability. That is unfortunate because I do enjoy engagement. I try to make a point of telling people that I am rarely on Discord so no one feels slighted by me.
