Someone must defend music... and that someone will be "Music boy", a powerful friend who fights against those who hate music with the best chords.

Alguien debe defender la música… y ese alguien será “Music boy”, un poderoso amigo que combate a los que detestan la música con los mejores acordes.

Music Boy is my first character made in a cartoon style, has very striking features that give him that style of Rockstar and superhero, among its highlights we can see that it has a belt which has compact versions of instruments with unique powers and features as is the case of this guitar that controls the electricity of the space around him according to the note he plays.

Music Boy es mi primer personaje realizado con en un estilo cartoon, cuenta con características muy llamativas que le dan ese estilo de Rockstar y superhéroe, entre sus aspectos más destacados podemos apreciar que cuenta con un cinturón el cual posee versiones compactas de instrumentos con poderes y características únicas como es el caso de esta guitarra que contrala la electricidad del espacio que lo rodea según la nota que toque.

This character was a commission from Liuke, who asked me to make a curious, cute character for Music4life, but in a cartoon style... and although it's not my painting style (currently) it's always good to do new things that allow us to grow ;)

Este personaje fue un encargo de Liuke, el cual me pidió realizar un personaje curioso, bonito para a Music4life, pero en un estilo cartoon… y aunque no es mi estilo de pintura (actualmente) siempre es bueno hacer cosas nuevas que nos permitan crecer ;)

To make this character I used many layers, I think 40 or more, because I separated all the elements according to the color. The first thing I did was to make a simple sketch on a common sheet and then with the clear idea of what I thought to do I began to sketch a little more detailed in digital, then with much patience I made the line art, and proceeded to add the base color, then with much patience I proceeded to incorporate shadows and lights to give a little more volume, finally I finished with the background, which would be a kind of mountain surrounded by a storm approaching by the rumbling of the chords of the electrified guitar.

Para realizar este personaje si utilice muchas capas creo que 40 o más, debido a que separe todos los elementos según el color. Lo primero que hice fue hacer el boceto simple en una hoja común y luego con la idea clara de lo que pensaba hacer comencé a bocetar un poco más detallado en digital, luego con mucha paciencia realice la línea de arte, y procedí a agregar el color base seguidamente con mucha paciencia procedí a incorporar sombras y luces para dar un poco más de volumen, finalmente culmine con el fondo, que serían una especie de montaña rodeada de una tormenta avecinándose por el retumbar de los acordes de la electrificada guitarra.

It occurred to me to make a very nice effect to the lightning, so I made a little gif where the lightning turns on and off.

Se me ocurrió hacerle un efecto muy lindo a los rayos, así que hice un pequeño gif donde prende y apagan los rayos.
