My favourite anime movie || Spirited Away(2001)

Out of all the movies I've watched, "Spirited Away" holds a special place in my heart. It has been my favourite for a long time, and I can't help but watch it over and over again. The story, the animation, the characters, everything about it is just so captivating.
Have you seen "Spirited Away" yet? If not, you're missing out big time. This movie is a straight-up masterpiece from Studio Ghibli and director Hayao Miyazaki. It's a coming-of-age story that follows a young girl named Chihiro who gets sucked into a magical world filled with spirits and monsters.
First, let me say that animation is next level. The visuals are so damn beautiful; it's like you're in a dream. The spirits and monsters are all so unique and creative; it's like nothing you've ever seen before. The attention to detail is insane, and the use of colour is on point.
The story is perfect too. It's a mix of heartwarming and heart-wrenching but in the best way possible. Chihiro goes through some serious stuff and learns some important lessons about life. Of course, the themes of consumerism and environmentalism are also in there, but it's not in-your-face or preachy.
The voice acting is also top-notch. The Japanese voices are super emotional, and the English dub is pretty solid too.

Rumi Hiiragi is Chihiro Ogino, the story's protagonist, a 10-year-old girl trapped in the spirit world.
Miyu Irino as Haku, a spirit who befriends Chihiro and helps her navigate the spirit world.
Mari Natsuki as Yubaba, the witch who runs the bathhouse and employs Chihiro.
Takashi Naitō as Zeniba, Yubaba's twin sister and a powerful witch.
Yasuko Sawaguchi as Chihiro's mother
Tsunehiko Kamijō as Chihiro's father

Opinion:
"Spirited Away" is hands down one of the best-animated movies I've ever seen. The story is so unique and imaginative that it sucks you in from the beginning. The animation is absolutely stunning, and the characters are all so likeable and relatable.
Chihiro, the main character, goes through some serious stuff but she's a real badass and seeing her grow and change throughout the movie is so satisfying. Of course, the themes of consumerism and environmentalism are also in there, but it's not in-your-face or preachy.
The voice acting is also on point in Japanese and English dubs. And remember the soundtrack; it adds so much to the movie's atmosphere.
I can't recommend "Spirited Away" enough. It's a movie that appeals to all ages and is so good that it's worth re-watching. Hayao Miyazaki is a genius, and this movie is a testament to his talent. It's a must-watch for anyone who loves a good story and beautiful animation. Trust me; you won't regret watching it.

I will never tire of praising this movie. It is one of Studio Ghibli's best films and one of the best animated films ever, the plot, the music and the animation are fantastic, it is a real gem.
