Parasite Flower!

Indonesia is a “Mega Biodiversity” country. That is, a country that has abundant biodiversity.

On this occasion I would like to introduce one of them about plants. The plants I mean in this post are parasites.

Parasites are a group of plants that harm other plants. This parasite plant by the wider community is considered a very disturbing plant because it attacks and damages various other types of plants such as plantation crops, road shade plants, collection plants, and others. However, the parasite contained in this post, I took a photo in a plantation attached to a pomegranate tree.

Correct! This parasitic plant attack causes damage to the host plant. In addition, it is even worse if in large populations it can kill the plants it parasitizes. However, not a few people who understand health use this parasite as a medicinal plant, including for the treatment of cancer and various other diseases.

So, what is interesting or the center of my attention about the parasites contained in this post? And none other than the parasite flower itself which looks beautiful and has its own artistic value both in terms of shape and color. That's what prompted me to take pictures and share them with friends, maybe it could be a fun art of photography.
