War Day 10. The main thing about Ukraine and Odesa. And also, how all of you can help us right now.

It is relatively quiet in Odesa today. Except for the fact that we woke up again at 5 am due to an air alarm. There were no sounds of explosions, but still fear prevailed a little. It turned out that the Russian occupiers opened bombing on the outskirts of Odessa, fired rockets at the village of Velikodolinskoye - the former German colony of Gross Liebenthal, there were many around our city before World War II.

В Одесі сьогодні відносно тихо. Якщо не враховувати те, що ми знов прокинулись о 5 ранку через повітряну тривогу. Звуків вибухів чути не було, але все одно страх трішки брав гору. Виявилось, що російські окупанти відкрили бомбардування по околицями Одеси, влучили ракетами в село Великодолинське - колишня німецька колонія Gross Liebenthal, їх навколо нашого міста було багато до Другої світової війни.

Last night near Odesa, our handsome men from the Armed Forces of Ukraine lined up a russian landing warship, did not sink - the left. The guys are sorry they didn't drown, to be honest. Next time - definitely!

Вчора ввечері під Одесою наші красені зі Збройних Сил України таки підбили російський десантний воєнний корабель, не потопили - він відійшов. Хлопці шкодують, що не втопили, от чесно. Наступного разу - обов'язково!

Somewhere around three o'clock in the afternoon, it became "more fun". I was sitting quietly on the balcony drinking coffee, and somewhere something exploded quite loudly. However, we unanimously decided that it repulsed the attack and did not panic. And, if the sound is so loud, the attack was repulsed successfully. And so it turned out. About 40 minutes later, official channels reassured citizens that it had triggered an air defence that shot down an enemy fighter jet. Well, the one who can shoot, yeah.

Десь о третій годині дня стало "веселіше". Я спокійно сиділа на балконі випиваючи каву, а десь щось досить голосно взірвалось. Проте, ми одноголосно вирішили, що це відбивали напад та не панікували. А, якщо звук такий сильний, то напад відбили успішно. Так і виявилось. Десь через хвилин 40 офіційні канали заспокоїли громадян, що це спрацювало ППО, котре збило ворожий літак винищувач. Ну тобто, той який вміє стріляти, ага.

The mood in the city itself is quite calm and positive. Everyone is used to anxiety, you don't need to ask someone to hide in a bomb shelter, people know exactly what to do. At least most. Some go down to the basements at night and spend the night there. Just in case.

People are coming together more and more. They are discussing in the queues in the store who will be proud of the soldiers when they will patrol the city. putin thought that Odesa would greet him with flowers, as he always called the city truly Russian, but his actions only strengthened the DNA of Ukrainians in Odesa.

Настрій в самому місті досить спокійний та позитивний. Всі звикли до тривоги, просити когось сховатись в бомбосховище не потрібно, люди прекрасно знають, що робити. Принаймні більшість. Дехто спускається на ніч у підвали будинків та ночує там. Про всяк випадок.
Люди гуртуються дедалі сильніше. Обговорюють в чергах у магазині хто коли буде патрулювати місто, пишаються воїнами. путін гадав, що Одеса буде зустрічати його з квітами, так як завжди називав місто істинно російським, але він своїми діями тільки укріпив ДНК українця в одеситах.

But shopping is another story. In supermarkets, people buy what they can. No groats, salt or sugar, few vegetables, sometimes absent at all. Also in the supermarkets themselves, small problems began with meat. The slightly better situation in small shops, which I began to visit in search of the necessary ingredients.
I'm not panicking at all, but no one knows what awaits us tomorrow. And food supplies will help not only me but other people to survive. Therefore, if possible, I always buy something. I wonder if it will work for me after the war or not?

А от магазини це вже інша історія. В супермаркетах люди розкуповують, що можуть. Круп, солі та цукру нема, мало овочів, подекуди відсутні взагалі. Також в самих супермаркетах невеликі проблеми і з м'ясом почались. Трішки краща ситуація в маленьких магазинчиках, котрі я почала відвідувати в пошуках необхідних інгредієнтів.
Я не панікую загалом, але ніхто не знає, що нас чекає завтра. А запаси їжі допоможуть вижити не тільки мені, а і іншим людям. Тому при можливості я постійно щось купую. Мені цікаво, після війни це в мене пройде чи ні?

Appeal to residents of other countries.

And now to the foreigners who want to help us and stop the killings and the war. You can do this quite easily. There are two ways.
The first is to support us at rallies in their countries. Just look for similar promotions on FB and join them. The more people come out, the better we will all be heard.
Second, disseminate information and call on your politicians to help Ukraine. Yes, the whole world is helping us today, but unfortunately, there is still the problem of bombing peaceful cities. Therefore, focus the attention of your politicians on the topic of air over Ukraine.
