Icy Eagle Creek - New Photos

avatar

My little trip to Emerald Bay and Eagle Falls a couple days ago was a productive one! After shooting the sunrise, I had some fun along Eagle Creek, shooting the icicles. Emerald Bay is usually included in my compositions when I am in this area but the ice was looking so good, I spent more time shooting it than the bay.

These were all shot with the Canon 5DSr and a 24-105mm lens. A tripod and a longer exposure were used to get the soft look to the water.

These will all be on my website and available as large fine art prints soon... These images are also numbered 1-5, I'm curious, which one is your favorite?

Thank you for looking. Cheers!

Hey, Scott. You know that asking to pick a favorite is not fair? I can't decide; I like all of them.
If I had to choose one it would be the first or the third. Love the forms of the ice against the branch and the soft water background.

Cheers!

I loved all the pictures, but if I have to pick one I think I would probably go for number two, I liked that one even more.

Hello Scott

How are you doing? I'm not sure if you remember me from NoiseCash, I haven't been on there for ages, I found you on here through @friendlymoose. So nice to see you putting your posts up here, bound to get me keen to take out my gear and go find something pretty to snap.

I hope you have been keeping well.

Yes, hello!!! I haven't been on that site in quite some time either. It was interesting but HIVE is still my favorite. Been busy with the camera lately, hopefully I'll have more new ones soon... Things are well, I hope they are for you too. Happy shooting!

Thanks so much for the reply Scott. Yes, I think that site has lost a lot of the momentum it had at one stage.

I see that you have been busy and getting such breathtaking shots, really do admire your skills. Things are definitely getting better slowly on my side, last year was trying, this year will be better 🙂

Have a wonderful week.
