I lost my android phone
I was not happy when I discovered I got robbed and searched for my device blaming my kid sister for misplacing it. She told me she knew nothing about it but I didn’t believe her because she made use of it for Tik Tok the last time I saw the phone.

While I searched for it endlessly. I later discovered it was stolen then I remembered I took it after I saw it unconsciously; plugged it inside my mums car without locking the doors. The thief opened the car door while I was inside the house, stole my Android phone and my power bank charging inside the car. There was electricity black outs for few weeks now and I needed an information from the phone; so I plugged inside the car. I was just grateful to God the thief probably didn’t know how to drive. The thief would have stolen my mums car also.
I called my mobile line, a lady picked it up and told me wrong number. A report came from a friend my other line saying a lady called and said I was in need of money for surgery and am sure she had been calling random people on my device telling them false information on how I in need of money urgently(I.e using my device and my identity has a source of fraud).
I had to go block the mobile lines and broadcast to all my contacts about the incident that has happened.
I felt so careless and guilty for blaming my kid sister for the phone that got stolen. I was just lucky I backed up most of my files and data’s on my iPhone:
I learnt two lesson;
- Not blaming people and shifting faults on people no matter the situation; either it was triggered by me or the person. What ever happens I would just try to move on and let the past go.
- Always been conscious of the environment security wise.
Just thought I share this uncomfortable incident went everyone. I pray God forgives her and I hope she finds the light to repentance.
Thank you.
Sorry to hear that, use a GPS tracker next time.
Thanks so much about @phusionphil. I would keep searching till I discover the lady behind the incident
So sorry to hear this.
How did you sister feel knowing it was stolen ?
She felt mind rested she wasn’t the fault and sad about the incident but she says she forgave me; it could happen to anybody
Stealing the phone and then calling your friends for money!!
Wow!!
This is just taking it to the next level - so nasty!
Sorry the phones gone, but glad you have all the important stuff back up
Thanks so much @kaerpediam; I have just to let go. When there’s life there’s hope.
These are valuable lessons. The first one is priceless. Strange how so many of us humans end up repeating this same mistake again and again (blaming others). May you offer the same 'letting go' to yourself as well. 💞
