Finally, Chocolate Hills!

After so many years that I've frequent Bohol, I haven't visited Chocolate Hills yet. This time around, I can't miss this opportunity as it was one of our itinerary during our Bohol Trip.

Since it was a weekend, it was expected that there will be a lot of people in the vicinity. Since most of my colleagues have already experienced Chocolate Hills, only those who haven't witnessed its beauty have paid for an entrance fee of Php100.00 .

The weather was scorching hot when went there. Good thing I've worn my sunglasses and bucket hat. I asked my colleague to take a photo of me in near the cave like entrance on the way up. We have to climb not just some few steps but a lot. If you're scared of height you might want to reconsider but if you're not, it's really a wonderful experience.

It's also best if you bring an umbrella with you especially if you're going there at 10:00 am onwards. Wear light colours too aside from it's comfortable with the hot weather it will also compliment with the background.

Make sure to bring your cameras with you and remember to hold the rails while going up and going down for safety purposes.

Finally, looking at the beautiful view up is all worth it.

Since there were a lot of tourist, we take turns in taking photos. We just have to wait for them to finish and take some photos with the chocolate hills as background.

There's also a wishing bell there, where you throw some coins and ring the bell to wish. :)

I hope I can bring my daughter here one day, I'd love to travel with my family next time. I can also see some kids with their parents that made me miss my daughter.

That's just it, after staying for 10-20 minutes for the photo op we went down because it was scorching hot. There's a shuttle service provided so you can go where you park your car/van below since you are only allowed to drop the passengers down and to those who doesn't pay for the entrance fee, they are not allowed to go down the car even for a few seconds to take some photos. So if you're going to take pictures, without going at the very top, I recommend for you to just pay for the 100.00 pesos entrance fee so your visit won't come to waste. :)
