A Wednesday Tour In Our New Surroundings by @tattoodjay/@elizacheng
Happy Wednesday hivers! We've recently relocated to a new address since the house was sold to the new owner. My daughter then made a renovation of their house at the subdivision which is an extension at the back to give more space for my furniture and other stuffs.
I seem hesitant to transfer to the other city since am already used to the cool surrounding of our place that I planned to build a cottage in our homestead at the farm but my kids didn't conformed to it considering my age and they wanted me to be near them. I looked for a similar surrounding where there are trees and plants around me because they make me feel comfortable in a way. Aside from that, my granddaughter, Antonia still has remaining two months in school that we need to find another abode before the renovation is totally done.
It's a simple place with fruit trees and green plants around and most of all, I have friendly neighbors just beside our rented house which previously was their late parent's house.
They helped me in arranging our things inside the house after cleaning the interiors which was entirely heartwarming! On the first photo above, I love listening to their pet bird named 'Pikoy' but sad to say, it still couldn't talk unlike it's other kin though it can mimick 7 bird sounds that makes me smile everytime I hear those sounds. Perhaps, I will be able to detect its gender when there's a second mate inside the cage.
It's the fruit bearing season for Indian mangoes as you can see above the mango tree with fruits growing abundantly. Brother and sister asked me if I liked to eat raw Indian mangoes dipped in spicy shrimp paste and I said yes with excitement!
We had cool weather this morning after last night's heavy downpour which encouraged me to roam around the garden. That's my landlady inspecting her plants before going out while I was busy taking pictures of her plants. She promised to plant seedlings of each for my daughter that are not in my collections.
That's good enough! I already love this place during my one month stay here. I hope that Antonia's mom will concede to my request for me to stay here for a while before I transfer to the other city. This has been my home for more than 4 decades where people know each other by merely mentioning their family names and presto! They already know which community your family came from!:)
Well, old folks like me tend to be sentimental when it comes to this but I can adjust inorder not to hurt their feelings. After all, they're all that matters to me more than anything else! Thank you for reading and my big thanks for your upvotes/comments and of course to @justinparke and family, @tattoodjay & @elizacheng!
You have a lot of pretty ornamental plants Ma'am, The place is even more beautiful if it have many flower and plants in the surroundings.
Indeed. I also have a beautiful garden in our previous residence. It serves as my stress reliever. Plants makes a healthy surroundings too. Thanks for the visit!
The pikoy Yan talaga sikat na ibon! Isang plantita din pala Ang landlady mo.
Yes she is and she's got a lot more at their homestead sa farm with Bahay Kubo. I really like to go there to see the place because she said she's got various vanda orchids in different colors😲then do some ihaw2 there!
Certified plantita spotted ,hehe , ang gaganda po ng collection nyo, tapos yung mangga haaay, lunok laway nalang.hehe
Yes she's already a certified plantita even before the pandemic just like me. Dinala ko na sa Bacolod yong mga potted plants ko as I promised my daughter to give her those beautiful green plants.
Sometimes ang hirap din iwanan ang lugar na nakasanayan mo na tirhan. But your it is also good to live near your loved ones.
Dami mangga at tanim!
Yes day, lagi kami kumakain nyan dahil nasa paligid lang and we have generous neighbors too Basta may taga akyat ka lang. Lol!
Yeah, I am taking that into consideration. After all, their main concern is my health.

Kaya nga eh and I really love the cool weather here. Ang init kaya don pero I will be there naman when the time comes. As of now, enjoy muna namin kkakain ng Indian mangoes na manibalang with bagoong. Yummy!
kainggit! May bagoong ako dito te, tara! HAHAHAH
The place is almost similar to Canlaon, Sis. There's also a garden where you can unwind and plant flowers and vegetables. Though there's no place like home. It takes time for you to feel comfortable in your new abode 🤗💕
Ano ka ba sis, am still here in Canlaon naman though I looked for another residential house kasi di pa tapos yong renovation namin sa Bacolod at saka klase pa nila Tonya. I really feel comfy here with all the fruit trees around and those ornamental plants. Anyways, I will stay with my daughter for good when Antonia will be joining her mother and continue her studies there. They need to be together to cover up the gap between them. Lola is not here all the time you know...
Ho my, naibog gid ako sa mga tanim oy gaganda, halatang alagang alaga. Ka nice din sa new place mo Sis.
Yes sis. Gusto ko talaga Dito but it's only temporary Kasi gusto ng mga anak ko na malapit sa kanila kasi matanda na tayo. For now, di ko muna iisipin yan oi. 😏
Wow ma'am @sarimanok those are lovely flowers. How I wished that we could relocate our location too
