The Apothecary Diaries: This One Anime Series That Got Me Hooked Until the Last Episode!

I've been seeing a lot of screenshots about this anime all over Facebook, and this got me curious about how good it is. Humor in one anime is really a good thing, but that's not enough reason for one to say that it is really good. For sure, they saw something more in it, and that got them hooked on it. It just had a few episodes that time, so I didn't bother checking it. In my head, I don't want to be left hanging every week, so I'd rather wait for it to be finished. And it finally happened.

After watching episode one, I keep wanting more. I want to watch it in one day, but I can't because I'm still in the process of recovering and I don't want to get scolded. So I take my time watching it. But seriously, when you start a good series, it will be hard to stop, and that's what happened to me while watching this series (◍•ᴗ•◍). There is just something about it that makes me want to keep watching it <(￣︶￣)>.

And you know, when I saw that I'm already on episode 13 yesterday, I was like, "What? That fast?" And from then on, I took my time watching it and had a lot of pauses too because I felt like I would finish it in no time. It's just so good, I don't want to end it too soon, lol. Although finishing it one go is so much better than pausing a lot of time, in my head, if I finish it that fast, then I don't have something to look forward to the next day. Weird, I know, but that's just how I feel about this anime series, lol.

Anyway, about the anime, starting with Maomao, she's one of the main characters here. And how I love her cool character, as she can't be swayed that easily by the beauty of Jinshi, he is one of the main characters too. She's the kind of character that I love, she's a nonchalant type of girl and will only react enthusiastically if you talk about poison and rare herbs.

The way to get her off guard is to offer her some rare herbs, or by asking her on making a drugs. She also likes poison, as she is so into it, and her subject with those poisons is herself. That's why she often has a bandage on her arm. Maomao is really one intelligent girl, I wish I had that intelligence too, lol.

Aside from her knowledge of medicines, her way of solving mysteries around the palace is just amazing. She's like a little detective, you know, as she can always connect the dots with those mysteries after some thinking and analyzing. It's good that the series has those problem-solving cases, it's like Detective Conan, and it's more entertaining too, but I really wish they would give more focus to the apothecary thingy. In the first few episodes, that's really the case. But it changes as the series progresses.

There is still a connection, of course, between medicines, and in those cases, I think it is still well balanced, but I don't know - I just noticed it as I moved further to the end of the series. But overall, I still love it. I enjoy it so much, and I really wish they would give us more episodes. But I think it won't happen soon. In some cases, it took 3 to 4 years before some could produce a new season in one anime. Just like some anime, I know, the worst that can happen is not getting any new season at all. That's the saddest news that we could get, seriously.

Anyway, I'm not sure if it's just me, but I cried on the last two episodes of this series. It's the part about her mom and dad. If you are also curious about what happened, then you should watch it. I am not sure if you will like it, but I will recommend it because I find it to be a good anime series. I'm already looking forward to the next season, whenever that is I'm excited, h3xk yeah ┌|o^▽^o|┘♪.
