Short Quest on Sunday Morning: Grabbing My Favorite Fluffy Cupcake without Regret and Trying Peppery Fried Tofu with Sugar and Soy Sauce

It's been a long time since I last had a full bath ಥ_ಥ, kidding... It's really not that long. Say like, today's the fifth day? Ah, the sixth I think /ᐠ｡ꞈ｡ᐟ, lol. Kidding aside, the weather here is still bad, it's cold and the water is like that water that came from a newly melted ice. Even washing the dishes needs a lot of courage, lol. I'm wondering how's the weather in the other side of earth. It's raining in here too though it stop, but its really cold too ◖⚆ᴥ⚆◗

But sleeping at night really is nice, I was covered by a big and thick blanket and sleeping til six am is like normal. We usually wake up at 5 or 5:30 but these days, it's hard to get up from our bed. I'd really just rather stay in my bed and sleep more. Lol. Aside from its hard to take a bath in this kind of weather, drying the clothes is also not easy. I really want my clothes to be dried up under Mr. Sunny's might so I kinda miss Mr. Sunny from time to time. Lol

So today is like that day, forcing myself to get up, fetch some water in the water pump then go to nearest bakery to buy our breakfast. Actually the oldies want me to buy hot pandesal in the Pandesal on a wheel but there's already a lot of costumer when I checked so I decided to go to the nearest bakery shop and just buy their slices bread. I'll be getting pandesal though. The oldies doesn't like the pandesal on this one coz they said its too salty for then. I love it to be honest.

I bought the bread in Mona and Ria bakery. They have a lot of bread but I seriously find them a bit pricey for their sizes haha. Even their pandesal cost 3 pesos now, the last time I bought their pandesal which is a week ago, it's only 2.50 pesos or 2 for 5 pesos. Well, with the high prices of everything now, I think it is also understandable.

I arrived home and first thing I did was ready my cup and my instant coffee mix. This is my coffee every morning and I only had coffee once every day. I can't take any more than that, if I ever craves for hot drink in the evening, I'd get milk or choco drink then

This bread from this bakery is really different from the one we can buy in the Pandesal on a wheel. This one is really soft but when it gets toasty, it's become a lil chewy or its really toasted, it becomes hard, but I like it when it is just cooked like this. It is soft and really fluffy, it has different texture to the real pandesal that I'm used to. Still, it taste good so that's what's important.

I'm already on my way home when I decided to check the other bakery store, not far from Mona and RIA bakery. It's the De Guzman bakery, and I saw my favorite cupcake with the icing. But then I thought I am having too much sugar these days but good for me because they have the regular one without an icing. To be honest, I thought a lot before grabbing this cupcake. I am convincing myself that I can't afford it today. I turn my back in that cupcake vut after taking a few step, I go back and then boom, I bought 3 of it (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠), vut no regret! Lolol. It is a chiffon cake by the way, one cupcake cost 7 pesos, this one's 5 pesos only before you know ಥ_ಥ. Good thing its size is still the same, unlike in other bakery, like they add price to their bread but they also reduce their bread sizes, isn't that double kill? Lolol

In the afternoon, I decided to make something different and without using chicken meat again, lol. This one has egg, sotanghon and carrot as my main ingredients. Its a soupy dish that is really good in this kind of weather that we have.

Then I also prepares this Tofu which I fried first before adding the mixture of soysauce, sugar and pepper. It is actually really good. I should try this again next time.

We enjoy our lunch with this simple meal. And it is really a good meal for the gloomy weather. Sipping a warm or hot soup then pairing it with fried and savory tofu, then rice... Hahhh! It's a good meal for surw ＼(◎o◎)／
