[LOH-267] From The Young Me to The Present -Favorite Moments, Events, and Memories
When I was a kid, during Christmas I remember going to my Ninang to get my Christmas Gift, whether its a thing or cash, I am happy to receive whatever. I don't know why my oldies wants me to go there instead of just waiting at home and wait for my gift there from my Ninang. As a shy kid, I always wants Mama to accompany me whenever I visit my Ninang. I get some sometimes but there are times too that I don't get any especially when I reached grade 6 in Elementary (≧▽≦). Back then I just feel like they don't really want to give me anything and will just be forced to give me something because I'm the one who visit their home. ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
But even if I feel that, I can't really hide the fact that I am excited with their gifts. I remember receiving a Badminton Racket and Shuttle from my Ninang May. I am so happy when I got it on my hand at least I won't get jealous anymore to my classmate who brought badminton at school and ppayed it during break. I happily played with it and even brought it in school to brag but that thing didn't even last (≧▽≦). The racket got hole while the shuttle that is made with plastic was also easily got broken. We can't play with it coz the quality is just bad. So to the question: What is my favorite thing to enjoy during the holiday season, and why? It's receiving gifts from my parents and my Ninangs aside from the sweets or desserts during Noche Buena and Media Noche.
Of course this change as I grow older. When I was in High School and College, I am most excited with Christmas Party because of course, no study time, just a happy time! And that's my favorite! I also had new clothes for Christmas so who wouldn't get excited with that no ＼(^o^)／. Then during College, I really enjoy my time with my friends back then. I don't mention our home as a happy place coz back then, I really hate our home. My favorite was when I go visit the Park with them after having a feast in one of my friends house. That's really a fun moments. Remembering them now, I realized how I really missed them. (╥﹏╥)
And now, my favorite was still visiting the Park but this time i'm with mama. When BER months started, what I look forward the most was the Lights Adventures in the Park which happen on the first day of December. Seriously, there's not much happenings in our life during holiday these past years so I don't have much to look forward to but just that. But even though its kinda boring, but once we're in the park and was surrounded by the sparkling lights from Christmas Lights left and right, it become magical and I was so happy with it. It's one of my favorite events during Christmas Season. I can enjoy the place, the christmas decors and the foods in the night market starting December 1 (^._.^)ﾉ
Its crowded which I really don't like but, I can still enjoy the experience most especially when I'm snapping photos, you know for the memories. That's also the place where I can find wholesome moments betweens families, friends and even couples. The Park is seriously the best place to relax and enjoy the Christmas season. That's why i'm always thankful that we have this in this small town of ours. As it happens yearly, it really become my favorite moments. Our house maybe has no any Christmas Decorations but with the numbers of decors in the Park, we don't really need it now and we can just visit the park whenever we want because its really just close to our home ( /^ω^)/♪♪
It's the most awaited time of the year for most kid-- that they're excited to receive a gift in cash or in kind..
Right? Right? We all experience that of course. And now tayo naman mag gigift sa mga inaanak or pamangkin 🤣

I think twice lang ako nabigyan ng ninang ko at nasa akin pa hanggang ngayon yung gift niya na disney puzzle. Favorite ko noong bata ako is yung christmas caroling ng mga kababata ko sa mga kapitbahay namin. Yung na-collect namin na pera binibili namin ng mga junkfoods para sa sariling Christmas party namin kahit na may Christmas party na inihanda ang mga parents namin.😆

I think it looks fun pero sadly di ko naranasan toooo. Nagagalit ang mommy, lagi sabi sakin, ginugutom ba kita at gusto mo mangaroling. Like, for experience lang sana dibaaaa. Aigooo. But you experience it and its more fun coz you get to enjoy it too with your kababata and friends.
Neighbor lang namin sila pero lumipat rin sa ibang barangay at hindi rin talaga kasi kami bumibisita sa mga ninang ko.😅
More or less 10 Families lang kami nakatira sa compound at close lahat mga parents namin kaya nakakapag-caroling din dun and we don't visit other places din.
Oh I see, mom mo na pala nagbabawal. Yup for experience lang sana, minsan lang kasi tayo maging bata.
