Another Day, Another Firewood Story: New Plants and Sweet Time in Our Yard with Mama and the Pets

I check on Mama downstairs and the first thing she said when she saw me was about her newly cut firewoods. There's a lot of them, some haven't cut yet because Mama rest and she got busy too in her kitchen. I can sense mama's happiness, its just a simple thing, but to us, to her I mean, it is a necessity, that's why she's happy and really excited about it.

Actually, those dried woods came from the neighbor. It is that tree that was cut down into half and fall to their roof during typhoon this year. I already shared about that typhoon here and it is only today that they decided to clean it up. Thanks to them the branches of tree dried up real good and can be use already as a firewood. Mama feels good for sure after Picking them up (⁠^⁠.⁠_⁠.⁠^⁠)⁠ﾉ. She has a sack of charcoal actually but these firewood is a huge help too for her

Look at all that. These are the first batch. There's more to cut actually, mama decided to cut more of them in the afternoon..

..with Uno as observer? Lolol. And I wish I can help mama with the cutting. But you know, I might ended up cutting my hands if I do that, lol. So its better to just watch and cheer on ＼⁠(⁠^⁠o⁠^⁠)⁠／

There's still more to cut though. But well, Mama can surely finish them in a blink of an eye. UwU

See (⁠^⁠.⁠_⁠.⁠^⁠)⁠ﾉ, we have another observer here, this time its Basteng and Moymoy. Haha

We're already in the yard so I decided to check the plants. I didn't notice this before but...

our Siling Taiwan is now covered again with red. She forgot to harvest them today but she's giving them to the same person again. And one more thing, we have new Guava growing in the yard, not that far from the Siling Taiwan. And it's not mama who planted it, so it's the bird again who drop the seeds of this for sure. We already have two guava tree so i am not sure if mama has plan to keep them. She's letting it grow for now. But yk, more tree, more fruits, right?

And, I also didn't notice this before but we have a calamansi tree in the garden ♪⁠ ⁠\⁠(⁠^⁠ω⁠^⁠\⁠ ⁠). And according to mama she planted it. That's good, calamansi is often use at home. Can't wait To eee them grow and bear fruits. ᕙ⁠(⁠⇀⁠‸⁠↼⁠‶⁠)⁠ᕗ

And so, after the good walk in the garden I had my afternoon snacks, it's espasol and potato fried. A perfect combo I tell yah. Sweet and salty, a well balanced snacks but both unhealthy HAHAHAHA. When I eat sweet foods, I really want to fair it with salty foods for me not too get overwhelmed with the sweetness.
