Hanami Sakura In Meguro, Tokyo - Tokyo Travel #8
In Japan one of the biggest events of the year is called Hanami or flower viewing, especially sakura tree flowers. Not only do the trees signal the arrival of spring, but they do it in majestic style.
While there are several streets, parks, gardens in and around the city, my favorite viewing area is along the Meguro river. Stretching for several miles, the river is lined with sakura trees, shops, bars & restaurants. Hanami is a massive event here as people come to enjoy the pink & white cherry blossoms. Let me take you on a tour of that route.
Starting at the overhead expressway it's about a 1.6km walk along the river to Naka Meguro Station, a trendy, recently re-developed area near Shibuya.
After crossing the street you're greeted with the first trees. They're not as dense as just a few hundred feet further down the road, but If you are like me this is nice. You can easily juxtapose the trees with the concrete jungle.

Even buds sprout from former branches on the trunk.
My favorite shots are the long shots and/or the juxtaposing natural with man made.
Along the river there are multiple bridges that give you the opportunity to get nice long shots. As you get closer to Naka Meguro station those bridges become more and more crowded with sight seers.
After walking for about 5 minutes you begin to run into the vendors and shops selling goods along the route.
There is a premium Starbucks here for specialty coffee, but the most popular vendors are alcoholic drinks. Even the famous department store Don Quixote gets in on the fun.
I couldn't resist a Hoegaarden Belgian White beer.
Continuing on, the trees really begin to get thick, forming a partial canopy over the river as they reach for sunlight & moisture.
There are so many trees along this route, but this one I always remember.
It has three dead branches that look like hand reaching out in a final grasp.
This was a beautiful flower, but unfortunately the lighting was poor.
Crossing the bridge the crowds get bigger.
An entrepreneuring foreigner sets up his rooftop camping related business across the way.
Another person looking for the best shot.
This wine bar, Marzac 7, is always a hot spot for hanami themed drinks & champagne.
A river below me, a sea above.
Now we have arrived at the bridge just before the station. Security stands guard here to usher traffic and to make sure you aren't congregating.

While I don't want to live in that tower, if there is anywhere I could move to in Tokyo, this is where it would be. This area used to be a bit of a backwater. My DJ friend had a club here 20 years ago and I would often play there. It has drastically changed since those days.
It's a very festive atmosphere down here, despite the COVID restrictions.

A plane heading for Haneda airport passes overhead reminding me I'll be heading back to America soon.
We are coming to the end of this hanami. A few last shots before we go back to doing other things though.

The operators doing V2K with remote neural monitoring want me to believe this lady @battleaxe is an operator. She is involved in the same discord groups around @fyrstikken and friends. Her discord is Battleaxe#1003. Shes in some groups with seemingly detached characters that dont even acknowledge the others in the group, looking oddly staged. She starts projects and does nothing with it or the delegations after its used to sway people. Like @steempowertwins does<------fake along with her @teamgood <------fake. No substance in her comments and has a following that adores her for what? Life coach she is not nor is she insightful with any meaningful skills to follow. Ruler of pixie dust maybe? I would like for someone to show me but probably wont out fear maybe? @fyrstikken groups around him down voted me into censored and not viewable on my accounts as soon I told what they were doing.
I cant prove @battleaxe is the one directly doing the V2K and RNM. Doing it requires more than one person at the least. It cant be done alone. She cant prove she is not one of the ones doing V2K because she cant and could care less. I guarantee she knows this is going around and still wont prove it because she cant. Many of us here can prove what they have been doing to survive the past 5 years. What does she live off of? It definitely isnt in public view here.
I was drugged in my home covertly, it ended badly. They have been trying to kill me using RNM with applied V2K mental games while revealing as many accessories to the crime as they can. I bet nobody does anything at all. Ask @battleaxe to prove it. I bet she wont. Pretty serious accusations to just blow off and leave the crypto community hanging in fear of this danger.
They want me to believe the V2K and RNM in me is being broadcast from her location. And what the fuck is "HOMELAND SECURITY" doing about this shit? I think stumbling over their own dicks maybe? Just like they did and are doing with the Havana Syndrome. They should start by looking at the communications between the top witnesses of Hive and the connection to @fyrstikken groups. Google his fucking name and see where his other interests lie around at least once maybe? The connections between @fyrstikken groups and all the exchanges built for Hive? Its a terrorist act on American soil while some yawn and say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and why nothing is being done. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control that have ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers prevented from telling the truth from being treated as criminals? What I love so much about Japan it is so clean and organized. I would love to visit at least once in my life. Superb photos btw. 😀
It's interesting because I come from Southern California which is immaculate. It used to be much cleaner and more maintained than Japan, but even so Japan is relatively clean, just don't look too closely.

Unfortunately not everyone can come at the right time. Even though when the cherry blossoms bloom, which is the icon of Japan, this is the moment that all foreign tourists have been waiting for.
I've heard, even the Japanese themselves look forward to the blooming of this very beautiful flower. Especially for foreign tourists, it is a highly anticipated event.
For myself, watching the cherry blossoms bloom is even like a dream and I will visit there at the right time one day.
